This solid titanium belt clasp and split-ring keyring are well made and work like the pictures in the listing show.Both the belt clasp and the circular split-ring keyring are made of titanium so they are non-magnetic, which is very convenient if you're going to use it for hanging a keychain flashlight with a powerful magnet in its base, or anything else that has one of those powerful rare earth magnets in it. I confirmed that they didn't 'stick' to the magnet in the base of the pocket flashlight that I hung on this. This is one of the potential reasons for using a solid titanium keyring setup like this since magnets won't stick to titanium and keeping the flashlight with its powerful magnet on your belt keeps it out of your pocket which keeps it from sticking to keys and everything else in that pocket. That's the reason I got this and it works well for that purpose.This little titanium EDC gadget was pretty easy to use. The titanium clip can be hung on a belt or removed and put in a pocket if you don't want it showing. The triangular swiveling portion (a 'gate') that allows it to be locked onto a belt is fairly tight and doesn't seem like it will come loose easily. I tried another very similar gadget with a round rather than trianguar 'gate' and it was easier to hook and unhook from my belt but wasn't as secure.One thing I've learned (repeatedly) to pay attention to is how the items you put on the titanium split-ring will hang since the belt clip does have a direction. I didn't pay attention the first time and decided after seeing how it hung on my belt to take the split ring off and put it back on the other way.The titanium split ring is fairly smooth but it is not as smooth a polished stainless steel split ring so it did lightly scratch the plastic on the tail of the keychain flashlight when I put the flashlight on the titanium split ring. The scratching was very trivial and could have avoided that by being more careful and/or putting something on the plastic to protect it but I wanted to mention that if you have something that isn't as hard as titanium (like plastic) that you really don't want to get scratched.

This is a lightweight and very well made key dangler that is intended to go over a belt. The locking mechanism is unique and seems to be very durable…i tested it with over a hundred open and close cycles over the past few days and there is no marring to the finish and the operation is as good as new. It should fit fine on up to a 1 3/4 inch belt but it might not work on a 2 inch duty belt, and the location of the keyring is on the lock mechanism it could get snagged during dynamic operations and come loose, but for normal ise it should be fine.

It's kind of difficult to open when I first got it, but it now opens with ease. What a great slim, lightweight design! Great for a gift for anyone that likes to carry keys clipped to something.

Yes, I too have been clipping my keys to a beltloop for more than a decade - it's a reliable and convenient way to carry them, after all! This is dramatically better. The clip is so low profile that it blends in with my belt loops, no longer a protrusion of aluminum that is less than professional and a little unsightly. This clip is refined, with a well-engineered locking clip that has the *perfect* amount of retention. It takes a day or two to get used to clipping your keys to your belt like this as opposed to a carabiner, but I doubt you'll look back if you give it a shot. The hinge of the clip, while so thin and light, has held up to several weeks of daily use without any signs of weakness. This is the best upgrade to my everyday carry situation in a long time.

.45 oz including split ring, has full width belt slot of 1.5" and if you had a very thin belt (like a web strap) it would accomodate up to 1-5/8". Belt slot is 1/4" deep, maybe +1/16" so should slip along a 1/4" leather belt ok, probably a little tight to slide through if its a full 1.5" tall belt though.The locking feature is clever and although it is easy to open I think by the geometry of it that it would be very hard to ever have it come accidentally open. Even if it did the split ring is still attached and its still hooked on your belt until something pushes it 2" upward which you would probably feel first.Both split ring and clip are non magnetic and look/feel like genuine titanium.
