LG Ultra HD 5K UltraFine USB-C 5120x2880 27in IPS Monitor, Black (Renewed)

I use this monitor as an extended desktop for my iMac. Having tried to use other 4K monitors with connection issues, OS Mojave does not dance well with display port, I bought this monitor. Picture is sharp 5k, but I have difficulty adjusting the monitor to match the iMac monitor in color, temperature and brightness. This monitor is definitely less bright than the iMac. Of course I can set the brightness to its maximum, but I set the iMac screen slightly past the halfway point, but need to go beyond three quarters on this monitor. The adjustable height on the monitor allows me to set the screen image at exactly the same level as the iMac image. Good enough but NOT perfect in my opinion.

Delivered as promised, in original factory packaging (reused), perfect condition, works fine. Emergency replacement for a failed same product, to go back on factory warrantee. LG is slow to turn around. Fantastic image and color. Couldn't live without!

Even aside from the awful seller, this monitor ever 5 years later! is not ready for prime time. The monitor has so many issues. To keep this review short and so you don't have to believe just me Google these issues as such LG UltraFine 5k (insert here), screen air bubbles, pink edging, yellow screen, ghosting, burn-in, connectivity issues, flickering. All those major-major issues are what I experienced and learned about in less than 4 hours with the monitor. An extreme disappointment all around, I would not keep or even be able to use this monitor as a designer if it was free.

I've never bought reconditioned before, but his product new was so expensive, I thought it was worth a shot. I am delighted. It's a beautiful monitor that works and looks as new. Terrific.

Brand new in original packaging!

3rd party seller sold refurbished monitor, When I returned due to poor quality approved by seller to Refund for full Refund. Once 3rd party seller received, They refunded only 50% instead of full claiming, item was damaged without notice or explaining what was damaged by their claim.. 3rd party seller just wanted to refund for 50% and not full refund and made not shared or justified claim of refunding 50% . Need to Refund Rest of balance $525. Very bad vendor and ships not top quality claim products. Don't buy any electronic from this vendor.

Great monitor. Just as I expected. I did much reviewing and tried many others. This is the one that I kept.

I thought it's a good option to buy here after reading the reviews, but I was wrong. I bought my first one, and found an area of the screen has been scratched, and when I try to connect it to my 2015 iMac, the screen keeps turning black and never worked. I returned it and order another one, this time, it works fine with my iMac and the scree is good. But when I take a closer look, there's cracks on both side of the screen.I understand that certified refurbrish can't be brand new, but those issues were not acceptable. Waste my time carrying this huge box over and over.
