Very poor quality and a “yes-quibble” warranty
The original Makita power plug unit lasted around 4 or so years. The advert for this states that it’s a quality product and that it is specifically for the Makita radio that I have, so it’s not just a random power pack that I have decided to buy and use with my radio. This is advertised with a no quibble 12 month warranty. After 8 months of infrequent use, the very flimsy wires at either end, have split and come away from the jack plug and power unit. Had issues returning this but Amazon stepped in and ensured that I was not out of pocket. It’s basically cheap and nasty, don’t waste your money.

Beware ! Within a month the adapter wire starts to play up and break connection, very poor quality, disappointed.

Not exactly the same as the original but still works
The adapter that plugs into radio is a straight adapter unlike the original which is at a right angle. Putting more stress on the cable that's pre wired into it. Only had mine 2 weeks and its split the plastic on the cable already
