I wish I had bought this a year ago when I bought the text book and activity book. I am now working my way through the text book again at my own pace. It is very helpful with regard to pronounciation and also has all the text book answers in.

Probably didn't need them. Wish I'd had them at the beginning of Willkommen1 book.

I've used this book both in a group class and also with a private tutor it is an excellent book to use as it has grammR sections plus. A variety of activities a and great for revision.quick method to build up conversational skills

Great course for beginners, but have to purchase the audio pack, otherwise no sound.

I am a German tutor and this audio support pack is perfect to allow my tutee to hear real spoken German in different contexts and it even introduces a few different accents and dialects which is nice.

The book is clearly made by britans, because of a german native speakers (and german language teachers) view it is not very good. The grammar is not explained very consequently, some important grammar issues are totally missing. But the Acitivity book is better than the Course book and the exercices are working in practice. What comes to the CD'S, you get the impression, that the speakers are feeling asleep, the sounds of their voices are very monotone. I really can't recommend this book to anyone!
