Unboxing the plugs after delivery I found them still vibrant green and only a little expected yellowing. I ordered these plugs 3 times and each time they all appeared the same. They must ship on Mondays bc I always received them on Wednesday. I live in NC and these ship from Florida. After arrival I took out 4 flats, 18 plugs in each flat totaling 72 beautifully, Large 2x2 plugs and watered them. I was able to take my time planting these and did not lose any after 2 weeks. They started growing immediately and after 1 week they already had runners or stalons. After one month the growth was fast and some stalons were 6 inches long. I planted the first box 12-18 inches apart and realized that these plugs can be cut in half doubling the number of plugs easily without harming the plant. Water these plugs everyday and follow the instructions and you will have grass growing in no time. The plugs are so much prettier in person. Great purchase and I will definitely order from this seller again.

The grass plugs are growing and spreading well! Would definitely buy again. The grass plugs arrived healthy, though they were root bound. It was easy to plant them. Will come back and report how they are growing. At this point, I would order again.

The grass plugs are half dead. It took almost two weeks to get them. I've paid the 130.00 dollar prime fee for fast delivery. It came by UPS and was on my porch on it's side. Didn't look anything like I ordered. I'm not returning it because of the hassle. I'll never order this product again. I only went this direction for grass plugs because I'm handicap and can't get to a garden center easily.

The top layer of grass was great, green, healthy and alive.The second layer was crushed, brown and most of it is dead.

My grass was a little yellow on arrival. However we will see how it does. I have put it out to get some sun and water, will plant this weekend.

I received my order in a timely fashion and the product ( St Augustine grass plugs) was in excellent condition.

I ordered these as the grass plugs available at Home Depot and Lowes were dry, frazzled and almost dead.These came lush and green and easily took to the Floridian sandy soil where they are now thriving.Although fairly expensive this does include the convenience of quick delivery...at least with a Prime subscription.

This was my 2nd purchase of Palmetto plugs. I was very pleased with the plugs that came in my first order. As a consequence, I placed a second order. The product came slightly ahead of the scheduled delivery date which was great. However, on opening the shipping carton, I realized that almost half of the roots of the plugs were dead. And so was the grass.I did not return it because I needed only a few of the plugs to complete my project. I could use the good ones. That being said, the priciple was that I received a product that was not in good condition and satisfactory to me. It should not have been shipped.
