Great travel thermos for loose leaf enjoyers
Love this thermos, I use it almost every day. Simple concept, keeps tea warm, and when preparing mindfully it doesn't leak. Some advice: This thermos becomes a sealed container when you close it, meaning that freshly boiled water vapor will be expanding and creating a lot of pressure, that can cause the rubber seal to warp and hot boiling water will rush out. Wait for the steam to settle down and leave some extra room at the top instead of filling it to the brim. Works fine when you've got the technique.

I love the stainless after my solid glass one. One complaint
Its super easy to use, I've had no leaking but I make sure to clean it and make sure no leaves are in the silicone. Keeps my tea hot and my fingers from burning lol The only complaint I have is the mesh strainer is almost TOO good. Leaves get stuck when you flip it back for the water to drain, so it gets clogged and I have to shake it side to side to get the water down to the cup. I'm going to take some wire cutters to it and make a few larger holes to fix it.

It leaks, and now it’s stuck
I was so excited to get this product and decided to use it this morning. It was a fantastic day out, the sun was shining, I was ready for work ahead of schedule, and I was going to have tea to drink on my way to work. I boiled the water, put tea in the little glass compartment and poured the water into the metal tumbler half of the container. I screwed the lid on to the glass compartment and the whole thing onto the metal half. I made sure it was screwed on tight and got ready to go. I grabbed the black tumbler sleeve that came with the product and slipped it inside. I tipped it upside down as I went to get into my car. I did this because in order to make tea the leaves have to touch the water you see. So I sat it upside down in the cupholder and started off. All I could think of was how excited I was to have tea this early in the morning, and on my way to work, it was -1 outside with a windchill factor of -20, so warm tea was a welcome and comforting thought, or so it seemed.I was listening to Beyoncé sing about how crazy in love she is when something in the cupholder caught the light. I will admit that a curse slipped from my mouth as I realized there was an extremely large puddle forming under my new tea tumbler. I lifted it up and put it right side up in hopes to curb the problem. This made things immediately worse as the liquid from the top compartment started to drip down on to my hand. I tried to tighten the top compartment but that did not stop it from leaking. I now had a problem because I couldn’t put it on the passenger seat because it would make a mess. And the cupholder wasn’t and option because if I put it back the tumbler sleeve would get wet so I opted to hold it between my legs. I frantically searched for napkins before realizing I had none. I wiped my hands on my jeans in dismay. When I arrived at work and went inside, freezing the whole walk in. When I got inside I decided to try and salvage what tea I might have left I came upon another terrible discovery. The lid would not come off. Everyone I work with has tried to separate the two to no avail. So I have no tea, I’m cold, I’m wet, and I’m sad. Not my favorite product.

Chemical taste
On first use, I thought I over-infused my tea, but I realized when I licked some drops from the steel mouth opening that these drops had a horribly strong bitter, chemical taste. I suspect that the plastic middle piece or the rubber O-rings diffuse plastic into the hot water. I will take the O-ring out and wash deeply and update.
