Perfect sitting height for drum practice
I'm a drummer and part of my practice routine is working on a practice pad, which sits on a stand. At home or in the studio I normally use a drum stool, or throne, as they're called. they're very sturdy and stable but also heavy, weighing about 7-8 pounds. When I travel, I bring my pad with me, and a small stand, and, until now, I've dragged along my heavy throne. I had a tailor make a custom bag which holds the disassembled stands for the pad and the undercarriage for the throne, as well as the seat. This worked well but it's a lot to drag around on airplanes.I'd been searching for a lightweight stool for a while but they were all too low, good for other things, but not for this.I got my Walkstool today and the height is just perfect. It weighs less than 2 pounds and when folded, it even fits in my custom bag! I'm ecstatic. Thanks SO much for making this. Well worth the price and I'll get a lot of use out of it.

I'm very happy with my walkstool
I'm very happy with my walkstool, which I used for the first time two days ago! I am disabled, walk with a cane and my mobility difficulties have prevented me from doing many things just because there is no place where I can sit and rest when I need to do so. I attached a strap from an old shoulder bag to it so that I can carry it over one shoulder. It is extremely lightweight for such a sturdy stool and it is easy to open and lengthen the legs to a comfortable sitting height. Being able to bring a seat with me will make it possible for me to do things I haven't been able to do for a very long time. Thank you SO much for this item!

Great for bigger people!
I used this stool for first time at a comic-con. It worked amazingly! I'm a big guy, weigh around 300 pounds, and the stool didn't even flinch. It's definitely made very very well! I would just pull it out whenever I needed to stand in lines, and then pack it up fast whenever I was done, it folds up very fast! Great buy I definitely recommend it, it's worth the steeper price!

They pack up super small, and supported the weight of some pretty ...
I picked up a pair of these stools to bring with me on the road. I was shooting a bunch of interviews around the country for a documentary, and it was important that everyone was seated the same way (for the style of the film). So rather than rely on available seating at each location, I used these. They pack up super small, and supported the weight of some pretty big people. I had to help a couple of interview subjects while they sat (the balance can be a little strange for some people), but once they were seated, it was perfect. I picked up a second one for myself (for sitting behind the camera). Highly recommended.

Great lightweight chair!
I ultralight hike and gladly take this for the weight/comfort tradeoff. The weight is pretty small for the trade off of have a comfortable place to sit. I take this to ball games, or any event where I might need to sit for a few minutes. These chairs are really well made, and if you are considering buying the straps for added support, just skip them (unless maybe you are 300+ lbs). I bought them and never use them. I put my 210lb rump on this and haven't had the first concern about it it breaking or even getting damaged. The only obvious thing that you might want to consider is if you or the person you are buying this for wants back support on their chair.

Amzingly useful little item
My son can't walk for long distances but loves to go to various conventions held in big, crowded halls. This has been a wonderful item as whenever he gets tired, he can just find a quiet corner, unfold it, and sit down for 5-10 minutes to catch his breath. It's very light and well-built, worth every penny. Can be slung over the shoulder and it's so light you forget about it. I no longer stress about whether we'll be able to find an empty chair or if he'll have to sit on the grimy floor. And, it's actually pretty comfortable. Highly recommended!

Very good stool
Have not used much but in testing it works very well. It is compact and lightweight. Fits in my backpack. I bought a pad for it in case of longer seatings but I'm not sure I'll need it. I don't have to worry about breaking the seat given the tonnage ratings and how sturdy it feels.

Good stool with some limitations.
Seems to be a quality product, small (packable) and lightweight. I have a different stool that is similar in design but has a back on it which makes it a little more comfortable.Three-legged stools are inherently unstable and difficult to use on wet or loose soil, and on uneven (sloping) ground. Lack of back support can make using the stool tiring. But the stool is useful for nature photography.
