The mesh is ~1mm thick "chrome-plated steel" which seems hardy enough to survive some abuse from temps/weather. Definitely fine enough weave to block the big pops, but not too opaque. I like it so far, but haven't put it to use. It took a while to arrive (10 days), which was about 3 days late, but not that big of a deal.

Sturdy overall but top screen is warping after 5 fires and I am afraid it will get worse and break. Also, the screen does not allow the Yukon heat deflector to fit properly because the base of the screen is too wide. If you don’t plan to get a deflector then it should be fine.

This accessory is just what I needed to add the cooking ability to my outdoor fire pit. Well made out of quality materials. The spark guard adds that extra elevation that makes cooking easier without burning. The ash shield is great when not cooking and keeps embers from flying about.

I have a knock off solo stove, so I wasn't sure if this would work or not. Turns out, it works perfectly! It fit just right, so if you have a Blue Sky or similar sized pit, it'll work just fine
