Columbia Men’s Voodoo Falls 590 TurboDown Jacket, Thermal Reflective Warmth

The sizing is a bit weird. It's very...deep. For the style, I didn't expect to have to roll the edges, but if you don't it fits kind of like a swim cap, except it'll come down to the bridge of your nose. This is coupled with it being relatively tight. I wear a small hat, 6 7/8 - 7 hat size, so I ordered the small medium. I'm glad I did, because if I had gotten the larger one, I imagine I'd have to roll it to the point that the omni-heat reflective material would show. Nothing like wearing a disco ball on your head. For function, it is exceptionally thin. But it is also very effective for what it is. I use it to run in the mornings here in Korea, it's usually around 12-18 degrees F when I go. It's a little chilly at first, but within the first few minutes it's quite comfortable, and allows the sweat to breathe a bit. All in all, not a bad purchase, a little odd in the execution, but otherwise pretty good.

I bought this as a sleep hat since I like to sleep in a unheated bedroom and because I am bald. This beanie is my best of all of my sleep hats. This one has a nice comfortable fit and it rarely comes off in my sleep. The band is wider and much more comfortable than that of my regular warmer weather sleep hat. The insulation is perfect for cool and very chilly temperatures. The price was higher than other sleep hats that I've tried but I got what I paid for. I have another Columbia Trail Summit Beanie that I wear in the winter on the farm. The beanie is warm and it fits well and stays put under my Stihl Chain saw Helmet or under my "bonnie hat" (bush or jungle hat).

Meh, I wasn't dazzled by it, but it does breathe a bit better than other snow caps you might wear. People reviewing the beanie mentioned it running small. I have a small head, so it worked out well.

I love these hats. They are light weight but with the omni-heat they provide great warmth. Great seller with very fast delivery. You will not be let down. Order a size large/XL if your head is even slightly larger that those poor small headed humans around you. I am used to the sizing with Columbia so I know to order the larger sizes with hats.

Husband loves this cap! He runs on cold mornings wearing it under his baseball cap. This cap for warmth and the baseball cap for keeping the sun out of his eyes. He’s very happy with this new addition to his running attire.

This is a great cap. Very thin, and perfect for what I use it for. I ride a motorcycle every day, I also ride a bicycle regularly. I purchased this cap to wear under my various helmets, and for hiking. It has proved to be very warm and sometimes a little too warm. I have worn it in temperatues around about 15 degrees F.The hat does not have great wind protection however, so be warned!I have a fairly small head for a guy, and the Large/X-Large fit just right.

Shiny black, form fitting, runs small. I shave my head so I ordered the small/medium and had to stretch the hat out a bit with my hands, kind of like a taffy machine, in order to make it fit comfortably but it still resembles a swimming cap. I'd have ordered the L/XL but other reviewers have stated that that size is too deep on their heads and covers their eyes.

I was pleased with remembering a Halloween I used a black shirt as a ninja mask.However in order not to get gunned by shop owners or threatened by police, it is somewhat polite to pull onto your head...Have i mentioned it is a little tight? My hat size is 7 & 1/4, or Large Cycle helmet.This feels like a migraine pressing your skull if you push it up onto your head.I also bought the: Columbia Men's Trail Summit Beanie, Graphite, Large/X-LargeThese hats are not so bad for a size 7+ head. But they are still too small in length and tight in width.When did columbia outdoors, become Oshgosh B'gosh where men's skull sizes are children before age 13?

Si me protegió del frío a -18 C, aunque no me gustó que se resbala mucho, tuve que utilizar otro gorro sobre este y un headring, otros que he tenido de la misma marca son afelpados y este modelo la tela es lisa y se siente un poco fría.
