One of those tools you didn't know you needed.
I'm not an electrician but I'm an avid DIYer and I've done my fair share of electrical jobs over the years using wire nuts. I happened to be watching a YouTube video and noticed a guy using a tool similar to this and thought to myself how handy that would be while questioning why I hadn't seen this fantastic little tool years before. The premise is simple, you attach the tool to a drill/driver, insert the wire nut into the tool (or you could hand start if you prefer), and run it onto the wires, done. It makes a good snug connection quickly and while that might not be a huge deal for one or two wire nuts, over the course of a day the time savings can add up.Overall, I'm happy with this little tool - it will be used frequently...

Works Well in Right Circumstances
I really wanted this tool. So much so that I ordered it twice having somehow lost the first one shortly after arrival and before I even had a chance to use it. That brings me to my first observation with this tool which is its relative small size. This is more of a personal annoyance than an issue with this tool as it's designed to fit a variety of wire caps to include the red and yellow screw on caps which is what I predominately use in DIY wiring projects around the house. Also, this tool is really lightweight and as the item description describes is a high-density polymer with a metal shank. I was a little skeptical of how much torque the polymer spinner would give or whether it would slip but it hasn't yet even to the point of screwing a red cap down 2 12-gauge wires until they popped out the top of the cap.I just finished adding drop down lighting to our basement and wish I would have had this tool for that job as there was of sore forearms. This tool won't fit every situation such as small spaces that you can't easily work with two hands a drill but where you can be used, I think it'd be a help. Further, using a pair of Lineman's pliers is a real help in just twisting the bare wires and not the insulated parts, from twisting up and making a mess. A variable speed drill run slow also helps here. Not a "must have" tool after all in my opinion but definitely a nice addition to a DIY'er's toolbox for the right occasions. It's now in mine.

Good addition to the toolbag
I find myself doing electrical work more often than I care to, and the one thing I always dread is hand twisting all of the wire nuts on. It isn't very hard.. but annoying and takes a bit of time and effort, especially with your standard 12 gauge outlet wire. For $12 I should have just bought this device years ago and threw it in the tool bag, it really does make life a lot easier. Super easy to attach to a drill, insert onto the wire nut, and let the drill do all the hard work! My only regret is not getting the wire stripper/twister combo, I just recently stumbled upon those and I feel like it would be a better value to get that instead, as stripping the wire is half the battle! Still though, if you are looking for an attachment just to help you get those wires twisted, this is definitely the product for you, it really is a time and wrist saver.

twisting the night away!
Makes it very easy to twist on wire-nuts!Saved my hands re-wiring my in-laws basement.Much easier than using pliers and I'm getting a lot better/tighter connection. I recommend pre-twisting the bare part of the wires and then using this to apply the wire-nut and let it twist the insulated part of the wire a couple of turns.

Helpful For Big Projects
A bit overkill for installing one fixture. But would be handy when installing multiple fixtures. No need to over-torque your drill or spin the caps off the twisted wires (see erroneous product video). These wire caps are meant to be finger tightened. This device just saves the time and fingers when having to install many.
