It is straight-forward and easy to read. It says "I am a clock on your wrist". You gotta love the second hand that is red and has a circular bit at the end.I would have preferred the automatic (just personal preference) but they were too expensive. The quartz keeps virtually perfect time. Changing the date is easy but a little weird: the mechanism goes to 39 before changing to 01. Lost a Rolex--dammit. Had a Seiko automatic under Brooks Brothers name. This is a sound alternative at lower cost. I am pleased.

Overall appearance looks cheap

I got the watch for easy readability for both the time and date and pulled the trigger when it was half off the regular price. I really like the style which was the reason I purchased the watch. When setting the time, the minute hand had a very loose 1/2 minute of play from where it was set. When it's running the minute hand will either line up before or after the minute indices when the second hand is at 12:00 position depending on the watch orientation. This is the first Mondaine watch I've bought and I would rank it at the bottom of the Swiss watch hierarchy for build quality and value. The watch is similar to my Timex Indiglo watches that I purchased for $40 ($60-$70 MSRP). I have Casio, Seiko, and Tissot quartz watches that have much higher quality feel than this Mondaine watch even though they share the same price range. For me it's worth $100-$150 I paid for the unique style so I'm keeping it.

Received my evo2 Big Date Modaine Railroad Watch yesterday. I'm very excited to add this Watch to my now growing collection. I absolutely love this Watch along with the historical significance that describes its development and of course its use in all Swiss Railroad Stations! I didn't like the strap that came with the watch. It made the watch look cheap. I put a $100.00 burgundy crocodile strap on it and now I'm thrilled... it really looks awesome!

Todo bien y todo pero pensé que tenia la función de los 58 segundos por ciclo del segundero con el salto completo del minutero 🥲 fue la razon por la que lo compré y resultó no tenerlo.Muy bello y todo, formal, excelente

Pour moi qui suis passionné par les chemins de fer suisses, je retrouve sur cette montre, le design des pendules des gares des Chemins de Fers Fédéraux Suisses...Belle montre. Seul bémol. Au 30 ou au 31 de chaque mois (28 ou 29 en février) il faut penser à changer soit-même la date sous peine de voir la date aller jusqu'au 39... Dommage. Cela lui coûte sa 5ème étoile.
