Junk
This thing broke as soon as we tossed then box out of course. About a week after we got it it no longer would stay up and kept lowering to its lowest position. In order to get our money back we had to take it all apart and make a frankinbox to get it back to the seller. It was a great waste of time.

Not as tall as advertised
I use this chair at my standing desk (which is not adjustable) when I need a break from standing. I'm 5'10" and need a chair where the top of the seat is around 34" off the floor. According to the diagram on this listing, the BOTTOM of this seat is 31.5" from the floor (see first picture). With the 4" foam (see second picture), even accounting for compression while actually sitting on it, that should have been "just right." Instead, the 31.5" is to the TOP of the seat. Additionally, even at the thickest part, the foam is only 3", not 4" as advertised. This put me at a solid 3" shorter than my old stool, which was already about an inch too short after the foam had become permanently compressed (I was replacing the old one because of that and because the pneumatic cylinder was no longer maintaining pressure after 9 years of dedicated use).Another disappointment: the adjustable footrest is... let's say it's "too adjustable." No matter how hard I cranked down on the handle, it slid down the pneumatic cylinder with less than 5lbs of pressure. On top of that, it's so small that unless you can stretch and fold like Gumby, you can't use it while sitting in the seat: the ring is only 18" diameter, while the seat is 22", putting the very outer edge of the footrest a full 2" back from the front-most edge of the seat (even the one picture in the listing showing someone using it -- third picture attached here -- she's almost falling off the front edge of the seat just to prop her heel on the edge of the rest, and is propping herself up with her other foot on another surface). Even sitting all the way back against the back edge of the seat, my knees stick out 4", which puts the footrest 10" behind my heels because of the curve of the footrest.Fortunately, I was able to come up with a improvised solution: the pneumatic cylinder of the new chair was the same size as the one on my old chair, and that chair's base was 7" taller than the one that came with this chair. It took some effort to remove the cylinder from the old chair, but then I was able to mount the cylinder and seat of the new chair on the old base. Now I have a truly comfortable chair for my standing desk for the first time in several years (since the cushion on my old chair finally compressed to where it was too short). Still can't use the footrest (which is welded onto the old chair's base), even though it's 2" larger in diameter than the adjustable one that came with the new chair -- still 9" behind my heels. (Truthfully, using a footstool under my desk is probably better for my posture anyway, so I don't really mind.)

A great aid
I am mobility challenged and this chair allows me to roll around my kitchen and is high enough that I can prepare my food. Not exactly the original purpose it was designed for, but it works for me.

Foot bar
Foot bar is not as sturdy as it is already bent a little. Otherwise is it a nice chair.

Comfortable Chair for Big and Tall Folks.
This chair was so unbelievably easy to assemble with no other tools than those included. It’s comfortable and the foot rest is awesome. The perfect accompaniment to my adjustable drafting table. A family member who is over 6’2” and 200lbs loves it. Great price too.

Hydraulic cylinder already failing
I would overall say this is a good chair, except the hydraulic cylinder is already failing after only 3 months of light use. Yes, I'm a bigger guy, but well within the given specifications of this chair. I use it maybe a few times a week at a work-bench, so it's not even a daily chair. The hydraulic cylinder will only hold me up for about an hour before it starts to sag down. After about two hours I'm all the way down to the bottom. I had hoped that getting the heavier weight rated chair would help me avoid this. I will say that I'm otherwise pleased with the chair so far. It is comfortable to sit in, and the rest of the components seem decently built.
