This is PVC insulated wire typically used for test leads. Pomona rates this wire itself at 5KV and 15 Amps - though to achieve those ratings requires proper termination, insulation, and care to avoid physical damage to the wire.Note: The silicone insulated version has twice the Voltage rating and is slightly more flexible - but costs nearly twice as much. Good quality 18 ga
this is the cable that most DMM test leads are made from. I bought this to make test jumpers and banana pathc cords for my home electronics lab.Good quality 18 ga. reasonable insulation voltage and flexible w/o too much memory.
