I'm impressed with this bamboo charcuterie board. It's made very well and looks very nice. The quality would make this nice to use as a gift.This board is very versatile. It can be used expanded for large parties, or put together for smaller gatherings.I like how the board can be expanded, but then put back together again for easy storage. The main board has a black board that is recessed into the board. You can use this piece on the board, or you can remove it and then use it and the bamboo board at the same time for different things. There are also two side boards that are stored under the main board. You slide those boards out and they attach to the main board with magnets, or you can use each of them separately away from the main board.The bottom of the main board has cutouts to store the included utensils. The groove cut around the utensils makes them easy to remove and replace - I like that.I love the black piece. Not only does it look impressive, you can also pre-chill it and then use it to keep meats and cheeses cold. Clever.We entertain friends and family a lot, and I often create charcuterie boards for our get-togethers. This board is a great addition to our entertaining supplies, and I definitely recommend it!

Used this to serve up a cheese and bread board for a soiree this past weekend and it was a hit! The slate is my favorite part because it allowed for easy clean up and kept the cheeses cool. Forgot pictures because we were having such a great time but I can say, our friends wanted to know where to get one and said they loved it as well! Just be aware that the board is HEAVY, but that's because it's real wood and solid. Excellent addition for any get together spread!

When I open the box, I was very impressed with the appearance of the board. It is large and gives a lot of options. Each piece of cutlery, has its own space on the bottom side of the board, using a magnet to hold it in place. There are magnets around the board to attach the cutlery so that they are handy for use. One of the problems that we saw was that, although the photo shows the cutlery metal side up, because of the magnet placement on the board, the cutlery has to be placed metal side down. I think caution will need to be taken when using the board on a wooden surface as not to scratch the surface. I really like that it has a metal plate that can be refrigerated until the time of use. We plan on making a butter board for our Christmas celebration and we look forward to filling the metal plate with different butters to go with our crackers and breads. I did notice a small manufacture defect on one of the boards and added a photo. This could be a one time defect. Basically, you have four boards. One larger board, two half boards, and the metal plate. If you just want to use the metal plate, the boards stack together to make the two half boards one sturdy surface to put the metal plate on. The only problem with this is that there is no place to put the cutlery because all of the magnets that the cutlery attaches to are covered. We are very pleased with the board and look forward to using it. Even with the small flaws that we found we are still happy with this purchase. If I find any problems I will update my review after we have fully used it at Christmas.
