I bought this hand held cheese grater for $10.88 from Amazon. Upon reading the information on it, I reached out to the Amazon community to ask if it could grate cabbage and no one could give me an answer, so it arrived today and I had to test it out. I had some baby carrots in the fridge so I thought that I would test it out using one. After I put the grater roll or blade into it's compartment I placed the handle on and locked it into it's place on the white end of the grate roll, I placed a baby carrot into the compartment for the food and press down on the handle. and this is the results...It grated the carrot without any problems! So if it can grate a carrot it can also do celery, and onions, once you turn the handle once, it's a piece of cake.

You will end up having to purchase another one, so might as well spend it now than wasting your money on this. It’s hard to grate with the cheap plastic, and the handle doesn’t even stay on half the time. Don’t waste your money, buy something else

Have not used it so not sure how good it works. When took it out of packaging it was broken. Replacement is on the way.
