Q: I'm really picky about not damaging my books. Are these thin enough such that they won't warp the pages or are they too thick?

If you have a book with thin or fragile pages, these bookmarks will wrinkle the pages. They work for my cheap books and the ones I'm only going to read once.

Q: Do these come individually wrapped?

no. i wrapped them individually in tissue paper.

Q: What is the double loop part for? I call it a double loop for lack of a better term.

I guess it could be to adjust length I.e the further apart you place them the shorter it is - so it'll fit more than 1 size of book
