Making of a Lawman (Plainsman series) Paperback – 24 Aug. 2023

I have most of Lois L amour’s books but this is as good.the storyline is superb . I am half way through the second and about to order next keep going.

Following reading the "A Knight and a Spy series" which was very enjoyable I decided to try the western "The Plainsman series". Absolutely outstanding, a page turner and would highly recommend it.

Liked it very much,it’s very Louis Lamour who is the No1 on my list.

I am enjoying this tale of Nate and his exploits in Texas. Good characters

Couldn’t put this down glued to both books really hoping there’s more to come there is always some great honest gunfighters in these stories I’m waiting

This book and its prequel are just what I enjoy reading. Good western novels, a fine and upstanding hero and a solid storyline. Excellent books and I hope there will be more to follow.

Great story excellent read gets you hooked from the beginning and doesn't slow down keeps you turning pages to find out what happens.

I read both books the same day. Not a bad yarn, the Characters were good. I enjoyed them both. I recommend them both for a evening’s entertainment.

I really enjoyed Book #2! All the elements of a Louis L’Amour classic western except he didn’t end up with the pretty woman. Great storyline, plenty of action with an assist from a good friend. I highly recommend this story! Douglje

A good story, well written. Mr.Fairfax has truly captured that spirit of the old west and the main character is compelling.
