Love It
In my daily life, I utilize this regularly as I consistently take a quick record of ideas, thoughts, tasks, and anything else of value that I may need to revisit. I love the ease of use and the slim design of it…making it easy to carry with me in a bag or my pocket (the primary location). All of the features are cool, and setup was easy on the color screen. I am impressed by the quality of audio that it captures, and find appreciation in the overall quality of the device. Definitely recommended, as I have had one is the past that does not compare to this in any way!

Has auto place save!
I love that if I need to pause listening to the lecture, it automatically saves where I stopped to restart at the same point that I left!! Lots of storage space and easy to use!

Worthless, takes 10 seconds just to start recording
It takes 10 seconds just to prepare to record, so don’t expect to instantly record voice notes or calls like what most people buy these devices to use them for.

Could have been better
I recently purchased the 64GB Digital Voice Recorder with high hopes, given its impressive list of features. The voice-activated recording, A-B repeat function, and variable speed play all work well and are quite useful for lectures and interviews. The large storage capacity is a major plus, allowing for hours of recording without worrying about running out of space. However, I encountered a significant drawback: the recorder captures a lot of background noise. During playback, it was often hard to hear people talking clearly because the device seemed to pick up every little sound around, from rustling papers to distant conversations. This made it challenging to use in environments where background noise was unavoidable. Despite adjusting the settings, the issue persisted, which was frustrating during important recordings. The recorder’s design is sleek, and the password protection feature adds a nice layer of security. But if you’re looking for a recorder that delivers crystal-clear audio, especially in noisy environments, you might want to consider other options. For quieter settings, this recorder can still be a useful tool, but the background noise issue is something to keep in mind.

Nicer and more features than I expected!
I got this Xihama 64 gb digital voice recorder to record spoken word, specifically for the most part, conversations between my bosses and myself in which they are giving me detailed instructions to do things, because I usually can't read my own notes when I try to take written notes. What I didn't realize was that this recorder can do much more than that. I was impressed immediately when I opened the box. This recorder is actually metal rather than plastic, and feels solid and substantial in your hand. It's not heavy, it just has the feel of good quality. It includes a velvet drawstring pouch, a USB cord for charging and data transfer, a line-in cord, and a really good pair of earphones. It charges with a standard USB charger. The recorder measures about 4" x 1.25" or so.So far I've used it to make recordings totaling at least an hour, maybe a bit more, and I've barely made a dent in the storage, and the battery is still showing full. It defaulted to recording in .wav and I kept it set to the default so far, but it also records in .mp3. It also offers several bitrate options for each format, so it really would hold a lot of audio set to .mp3 and a lower bitrate (albeit the recording quality would of course go down at a reduced bitrate). In addition to format and bitrate settings, there is a setting for gain, so you can make the mic more or less sensitive. I copied several of my recordings to my computer, and it was absolutely simple to do (it basically shows up as a flash drive on the PC), and the recordings sound great. I will say if you're using the recorder to play a recording out loud, the speaker is pretty small, but the earphones sound great as does transferring and playing the recordings through my PC speakers.Other features that are packed into this little recorder include voice activated recording, automatic segmentation to break long recordings into multiple smaller ones, automatic timed recording where you schedule a time you want the recorder to record and for how long, and an environmental noise reduction setting. Don't forget to set the current date and time on the recorder before you try to schedule a recording, LOL. Besides the ability to record via the mic, you can use the line-in cord to record from another device. You can use this recorder to store music, create playlists, and play music. You can even password protect the recorder. Amazingly, this recorder even works in 28 different languages.I'm super happy with this recorder, and amazed at all the features that can be packed in such a small, reasonably priced device.

More complicated than it needs to be
I am still making a decision. I've owned plenty of recorders before, this one seems more complicated than it should be. Also the sound isn't that great. I use it to record my shows, but the quality is pretty blah. I often can't hear myself, no matter if the crowd is dead or cheering loud. The appearances decent, the battery life is pretty long, that is one great thing about it. I need to use it in a quiet setting, definitely not good enough to record what I bought it for.
