I had a hook with a burrito on it and initially wrote a bad review....but I was mistaken and changed this review!

I loved these little skeins of yarn in every color you could wish for. One skein makes a 6" granny square and with all the colors it is going to make a beautiful afghan.

I purchased this set after reading many reviews in order to fully understand what I was getting. That said, they are exactly as expected. I bought them so I could have a variety of colors in a small quantity because I have so much yarn at home (I’m on an 18wheeler and space is at a premium). I have blanket projects with me but was wanting something small I could work on as a break from blanket making.My first experience with this yarn was that it lacked stitch definition and that it hung on my hook and was quite fuzzy. After working with it a bit more I decided I could work around that and kept going. I decided that the problem was with the first small skein I grabbed and not a “brand” issue. I whipped up these few 2 round grannys in no time and I’m pleased enough. I included pics of the yarn after I used them on the 2 round grannys and balled them for convenience. There’s quite a bit of yarn left and each ball is about the size of a golf ball. Plenty to add another round to each granny, maybe more. If I run out of this yarn before I have enough squares to make a lap blanket I’ll get another set but as there is approximately 1100 yards of yarn here (that’s 22yards X 50 colors…I won’t be using black or white) I think I might just have enough.

This yarn is okay. It tends to shred if you have to undo a few stitches. The skeins are quite small. The color selection is pretty good. The hooks are 4.5 and 5.5 mm. There was one large plastic needle and a handful of plastic “safety pin” type stitch markers. The case is made of a lightweight fabric with a clear plastic side panel. It zips shut. I think it will work for carrying small projects with me when I go somewhere. The small skeins will work for small amigurumi or some granny squares but there isn’t enough of any color to make an adult garment or large blanket.

Great starter variety pack, yarn quality is to be expected at the price ...

I am learning to crochet and tried the Granny SquareThese were great for that project.The yarn is soft. And lots of colors , different shades of colors.It’s easy to work up, good value, and I keep my tools and yarn in the bag.

The colors are the best part of the yarns. There are so many hues and shades that you can create wonders. But it’s important to have in mind that no colors are repeated and the yarns are REALLY small so you cannot make a single color project, unless it’s a miniature amigurumi. The yarns are not as soft, fluffy and firm as the regular amigurumi yarns but they are good. The bag is of poor quality but it’s lightweight which is a plus when you’re carrying the yarns. Great variety for beginners to create their projects. It’s worth the price. I have not downloaded the videos yet.
