Excellent strong decaf.
Coffee tastes great but you have to fuss a little to get it into the Lavazz machine. But it's worth it.

A very interesting Lavazza BLUE compatible capsule
This is an interesting capsule. It doesn't have the foil seal, but instead has the pillow pack. It's similar to Lavazza's Espresso Point capsule system. The "Napoli" capsule brewed a very dark shot, and it tastes like it looks, dark roast. It has a decent amount of crema. The aroma is not quite as nice as say Lavazza Top Class or Ricco capsules. It's not a sweet shot.To tell you the truth I saw them on sale and I just wanted to try them. I didn't expect them to be better than Lavazza BLUE capsules because of the packaging. They're not better really, but I've had worse 3rd party capsules. As I'm writing this I'm sipping on my first shot. I don't think I'll have any issues getting through this box, but I'll wait to get to the end of the box before deciding whether or not to purchase them again.

So bad
Really just lame coffee and not worth the price point. Theres no reason to buy this product. Either buy a name brand you know the taste of or switch to a different style of coffee pods.

Okay, but potentially wasteful
Right off the bat, I'm going to get a complaint out of the way: there was no reason for these to be individually wrapped packs. They could've made them more like normal Lavazza pods, or... something. On the bright side, rather than non-recyclable multilayer foil packs (which is definitely what these would've been if manufactured by US standards), these are actually made of low-density polyurethane, so can be recycled. As for the coffee itself, it's okay. I went with the Napoli, which is a dark roast, for when I want an evening coffee without as much caffeine. The tasting notes are dark chocolate and cookies, and that does definitely come through. This would pair well with crispy brown butter cookies with big dark chocolate chunks.I would obviously rather have fresh-ground coffee, but if you want a cup in a hurry, you could do a lot worse.

Too bitter for me
I found the coffee to be a little bitter for my taste however, it’s a really great value and I’m kind of picky when it comes to coffee. Each packet is easy to use and individually wrapped, which is great for keeping them fresh.
