Sena Expand-02 Long-Range Bluetooth Intercom/Stereo Headset, Black

Like many other reviewers, we bought 2 of these to use on our boat for when eWe are entering and leaving marinas. At long last we can communicate clearly with each other for our berthing and leaving berths. No longer having what appears to be shouting matches. We can talk normally and be heard. We might even Be accused of talking to ourselves. Overall it has made a fantastic difference and we wish we had bought it before

Although I do use headphones, I've not used a Bluetooth Intercom/mic before OR one that fits around the back of your head as opposed to over the top. Once I'd stopped thinking I was in a recording studio and wanting to break out into song whilst clutching the ear pieces...I quite liked this set.It's not perfect but I found the sound quality good for music and calls and it's fit comfortable. However, my daughter's boyfriend tried them and found them less comfortable and hard to adjust.I think they're deal for any job/activity where you need to use hands free or just using as headphones. I found them less obtrusive than some large (but good) headphones I've used in the past.A negative point for me were the instructions which I felt should and could have been simpler.

These things are the best. They cost a bit more but are perfect for short range comms during outdoor pursuits.I use them for talking to crew when docking and undocking my boat. Makes the whole process a lot more controlled and professional.They've been subjected to some considerable rain and salt water splashing and are working well.Worth the money to have a product that actually does what it's supposed to.

Generally impressed with this bluetooth headset with a couple of very minor gripes. The sound quality is very good through all facets and the range is equally good. There is plenty of definition all way through bass, mid-range and treble. I find the bass very pleasing when listening to music and for me, its all the more impressive considering its over bluetooth. The range is also excellent, picking up from tablet and laptop alike whilst outside in the garden.Setting up is logical, pairing being very simple.It isn't the most comfortable set - perhaps being used to in-ear phones prejudices me, and it can feel a little flimsy. But in all a good set of phones.

The headset is lightweight and well made. It did take me a few attempts to set it up with my iPhone. Once it was paired it worked perfectly. The hands free for call is great, music sound clear and the mic does not get in the way. I could happily wander round the house and garden with out my phone and still pick up calls.My problem was the fitting. Im not the biggest person and found that I just could not get a comfortable fit. I also found that my glasses would start to rub after about half an hour. I tried to see what the fit was like with my snowboarding helmet. I had to remove the ear pads and play with the straps so they would not push against them. Once I added my scarf, goggles and jacket the headset was so uncomfortable. I was getting pressure points on my ears and my scarf was pushing the headset forward. Every time I moved my head the headset would twist.This is a good bluetooth headset,shame the fit let it down.

Bought 2 of these to use on our boat when we moor it etc.Their great, we can hear each other & not shouting and getting stressed with each other.Excellent purchase

The quality of the sound of these is remarkable, and it's paired to a setup that is both high quality in terms of build, and comfortable to use for prolonged periods of time. The microphone is great, and comes with a whole range of features that greatly improve the precision of the sound it picks up. It's bluetooth enabled, which is tremendously useful, allowing the rig to be used with mobile phones for calls and even playback of music. The range on this isn't great, but it's not far off what I've seen with other bluetooth headsets.Really, it's kind of a specialized piece of kit if all you're looking for is a good set of headphones with a microphone attached, but it's hard to find too much fault with what you get.

I bought the headset to be able to communicate with my wife on our catamaran. It works well so far and makes life a lot easier when we enter ports or go through locks. The wind is always audible and even using the sound reducer mode it stays but it does not really impact the communication. We are both happy to have these headsets.

Den 5 Stern hätte es gegeben wenn das Gerät auch gleich die Sena MESH Funktion hätte. Schade habe vielleicht spätere Modele. Wir haben und das Teil zusammen mit dem "Sena +Mesh Bluethooth to Mesh Intercom Adapter" gekauft. Ziel war es bei einem Motorradurlaub ( Sena 30K bsw 50S ) Kontakt zum Begleitfahrzeug ( Auto ) zu haben. Als Autofahrer kann man das Teil locker um den Hals tragen. Es ist leicht und stört nicht. Das koppeln mit dem Mesh Adapter war kein Problem und schon war man mit der ganzen Motorradgruppe verbunden. Bis auf ca. 1km hat das ganze gut funktioniert.

In Verbindung mit dem Sena S20 optimale Lösung um vom Auto aus Anweisungen an einen Motorradfahrer weiterzugeben. Schneller Sprachaufbau und gute Tonqualität. Durch die Bluetooth Übertragung hat man die Hände frei. Der Tragekomfort lässt etwas zu wünschen übrig, ist in der Bügelweite leider nicht verstellbar.Die Bedienung ist gut, und das Gerät ist leicht und schnell zu laden.
