Got it charged it used it for two min went to use it again and nothing happens no lights don't get hot thought maybe I should change it so I did and still nothing

This is a nice compact and portable soldering pen. It's very handy for times when you just need to do a few quick soldered connections and using a corded iron would be inconvenient. It works well enough but the amount of heat it can provide is obviously limited. Braided speaker wire can be done, but you need to be patient. The battery in this is fairly small and you only get 10-15 mins of use on a charge. It's proven useful a couple of times, but I certainly wouldn't give up my corded iron nor would I recommend this if you didn't have a decent regular iron already.

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted to love this, it just doesn't work at all. I made an attempt on all three settings.

This is a very expensive so I can excuse a lot of things. It doesn’t really last very long on a charge but it does heat up quickly and it’s great for a quick touchups like fixing a speaker wire or something. One of my issues is I don’t know where to get replacement tips as they seem proprietary. Also you get about 15 minutes of use out of the charge. But all things considered, it’s really handy if you don’t want to have to break out the big soldering station. So I think this is a very convenient if not necessarily critical tool to have in the workshop. It would’ve been really nice if it came with a case and it does not so take a star off for that .
