While these are very nicely made and good quality connectors, be careful when soldering, as the white delrin dielectric has a melting point of 347 deg F as referenced in Wikipedia and the center pin will misalign in the delrin if the pin is overheated.The solder I use is Alpha Reliacore 15 which has a melting point of 361 deg F as referenced by the manufacturer which is hotter than the delrin's melting point.First connector I soldered did just that, and the pin moved when I made it too hot. No loss if you move quickly and re-heat the center pin and move it back to its center position. Just be careful and work fast.I woul still buy these again as they are a good value. I'll just be more careful next time.

Ok, RG-8X is something that can be found in several grades and don't ask me what grades, I don't know, I only know that some is better than others. Most of the crimp-on connectors that claim to fit RG8x or RG-8X or whatever way they decide to write it... Will not really fit the "Good" or better grades of RG-8X. These guys from Ft Smith Arkansas, know what they are selling and they sell great stuff. I buy from them on Amazon because I am to lazy to use their website. No Joke, these are the best crimp 259's I have found for RG-8x

After watching a few Youtube videos on how to install these, the process went well. These seem to be good quality connectors, and the price is great to boot.
