Worked great in OBS
This was easy to setup and use. It showed up just fine in OBS and I was able to capture video with now problems. I was only had a 1080 source from an older camera I was using so I can say if it would work at 4k or not. For what I am using for its great. The capture card its self is made of metal and has nice rounded edges giving it a premium feel. Given how it looks and feels you would think it would cost a lot more than it did.

Works perfect for my current need and possible future use as well
This video capture card works great and even though I'm not using it for your typical game streaming / capture setup (yet) it is playing a vital role in another aspect of video capture. I had bought one of those dongle video capture devices with composite input to capture my families old VHS video tapes recorded by my parents and my late grandparents, which some are 34 years old already, but I had a problem and it was a major one. The video and the sound were majorly out of sync using the dongle device, we're talking 10+ seconds in OBS and trying everything to correct the issue was failing.Enter this video capture card and my armor 3 AV to HD that I have for playing older game systems from the 80's and 90's. Hooked up the VCR to the armor 3 to go from composite to HDMI, plugged the HDMI output from the armor 3 to the video capture card and plugged in USB-C to USB-C on my PC, setup OBS as stated in the instructions and right away recording the VHS tapes had no issues at all! Sound and video synced up perfectly and everything was captured without any problems and came out great. This video capture card saved the day when it came to saving memories recorded on an old format that sadly is starting to deteriorate no matter how much we try to preserve it from happening. The only note of caution I have is and I don't know if this is an OBS issue, something with Windows or with the device, but I have my power plan set to High Performance and for Windows to not do USB selective suspend but on 2 occasions when my monitors went to sleep after I had walked away for longer than 5 minutes the recording got stuck and stopped recording any input and I had to unplug the video capture card and plug it back in, thus why I removed 1 star because of having to unplug/re-plug in the video capture card I can't specifically rule it out as causing the issue.

When Technology Plays Hard to Get: A Tale of One Capture Card's Selective Compatibility
In the grand theater of technological marvels, where devices and gadgets dance in harmonious synchrony, there lies a tale of one Video Capture Card that chose a path less traveled. This particular card stumbled when faced with the seemingly mundane task of broadcasting PowerPoint slides from a presenter's Windows-based PC to OBS.You see, the presenter's laptop, in an act of quiet rebellion against the norms of refresh rates, opted for a 59hz frequency. Our dear capture card, perhaps in a bid for exclusivity or simply out of sheer perplexity, refused to acknowledge this avant-garde choice. This unexpected standoff not only puzzled the masses but also highlighted a significant limitation, particularly jarring given the card's ambitious price tag.In this drama of digital defiance, one might ponder the virtues of versatility and adaptability. Alas, this capture card, with its selective compatibility, leaves much to be desired in the realm of universal harmony. To those intrepid souls seeking to bridge the realms of visual capture and broadcast, I extend a word of caution wrapped in a ribbon of mild sarcasm: consider this card a capricious companion on your journey. Perhaps, in the vast expanse of technological bazaars, alternative capture cards, with open arms and less discerning tastes, await your patronage. In the spirit of fair play and hope for technological détente, this two-star salute is a gentle nudge to our selective capture card: May you find your place in the great tech orchestra, not as a soloist of specificity, but as a versatile virtuoso.

Decent but couldn't get things running well with my pc
Overall, I couldn't get a decent stream out of this, going into OBS on my pc. There were quite a bit of hitches and the quality wasn't the best. This is a bit odd with the price tag on this one, compared to the other cheaper alternatives I used. I like the (streamlined) design of the device but I just couldn't get it fully working the way I thought it should and I was only trying to do 1080p from my switch. also, I had issues getting any sound out of it, even with following the instructions for OBS.
