Sword Art Online abec Art Works

If you are a fan of Sword art online you will like this art book, a nice behind the scenes look at a fantastic animated story.

Great art book for fans of sword art online. The Kindle version has a problem with the pages being in the right to left reading order, when the book it was scanned from is left to right. This means all of the two page art has the middle facing the page edge rather than the other half of the picture.

Love this book. It is absolutely amazing! Arrived when it was supposed to and absolutely no problems with it.

Just so we're clear, this isn't a light novel or a Manga -- more so a collection of artwork with authors notes from abec, The primary artist you'll find illustrating a majority of the main-stream content in the light novels. It's certainly bigger than a light novel and a manga ( see picture) and the paper has a slightly better finish than the Attack on Titan Colossal edition. It looks like the cover also comes with a paper sleeve over a soft cover... which is odd, because I can see it getting damaged very easily on the shelf. Pages are very thick and colors are very bright (as you expect for a book to show off art).This obviously isn't for everyone though, If you don't know who abec is or don't really read the light novels, I would recommend against getting this. But on the other hand, if you do its nice to see some of the insight behind the art work. There are sketches of original designs, ideas behind events, exclusive art that's never been released outside of japan, and even a decent amount of reading material toward the back.For really big fans, this is a nice little treat. (good gift idea too)

If you’re a SAO fan and you love the art of the series, this book should already be in your shopping cart. The thoroughness of how the book was compiled by Abec, the same artist who does the artwork for the series, is truly amazing. Little notes are left all over the book so you can enjoy what was going through Abec’s mind while creating different scenes and such. And the book itself, while paperback, has a really nice feeling skin (I forget what the outer removable portion of a book is called) to where you think it’s axtually hardcovered. All in all, a wonderful addition to any SAO lovers collection, especially with Christmas right around the corner.

I pre ordered this book when it was first available. It's a must have for SAO English readers. It displays the artwork by abec who is the artist for the light novel series. For each image there are short comments left by abec. At the price this is being offered you should definitely have this. The next SAO art book I need is The Perfect Guide: Animation Sword Art Online by the illustrator of the anime version Adachi Shingo.

Very pretty pictures and I love the notes from the artist for almost each and every one. It's nice having a visual reference for every character in a physical form and the seeing illustrations that you don't get to via novels and manga modes

This book I got for my boyfriend for Christmas. Came in great time, full of nice art. The only bad part is that there was a nick in the spine of the book (which is paper back) and it just kinda made it look a lil bad.
