The first time we used it liquid passed through to the other side as any people have mentioned for many of these very low quality split pans. We bought this one because it was cheap, fully expecting most of them to leak. It seems there are few good quality split pans available on Amazon. Don't spend much money on any the listed pans.

Terrible quality

This is an extremely poor item that cannot have been put through any level of quality control prior to getting boxed.The join in the middle of the pan has been welded in place and, as new, this weld appears to be water tight. However, it has caused a series of holes in the base of the pan that are not only sharp and likely to damage skin, they will very likely also allow the pan contents to drip through at some point in the future.The handles have been riveted in place but not so that the join is flush with the pan. The edges of the handles stand proud at roughly 40 degrees to the side, creating yet more sharp edges on which to catch hands.Furthermore, there are many more sharp pieces of metal exposed across the entirety of the piece, such as the rim of the pan, the tops of the handles and even the sides where it appears the metal has been caught against something rough.This is a very poorly made pan and one to be avoided.

This is just the perfect pot for a hotpot. The divider will allow you to prepare two different soup bases for your hotpot dinner. The size of the pot is a little bit on the smaller end so it will be good for dinner for 2 and not for big groups.
