I grabbed this because I was interested in doing work with epoxy for a long time. First time ever on a couple of fighting game controllers I was 3d printing. Came out great. Will buy a bigger batch of this product from the same vendor again.

Love this crystal clear and fast drying resin. I can do art items with it clear or add color, or refinish damaged furniture tops, and more. So far am very happy with the ease of use, 1:1 easy mix, and it has worked on 2 major projects very well. The colors included are great, a wide range with glitter size options and disperses quickly and well. Have to work as instructed, there is odor (ventilation) but not as bad as some, and patience with smooth action keeps bubbling down. Easy to apply multiple thin coats after each coat dries (about 24-36 hrs super thin coats, but can be dry enough to paint on overnight if thin.) Thicker coats need up to 3 days to dry fully. Excellent to bring out beautiful natural wood grains and protect the wood.*do not apply too heavily at once even for thick coats, as it will drip. Less is more, but spread well initially, and wait a couple hours if shaping or use a hair dryer or art dryer.

But warning, it is very fun and exciting to create things, so be prepared to want to get more resin! THE COLORS they include can last a long time and be used in many projects. There are tons of videos on how to do it, so I won't say it is easy, but it isn't hard either.

The epoxy and hardener do not have an odor and it actually cures much faster than I expected. A lot of pigments came with this kit and the price was wonderful!

Bought this Resing for small painted Acrylic paintings. Works great so I will make some coasters and cell phone holders for a craft show.

This is a decent resin. It comes with a vast array of additives, micas, and 3 colors of metallic leaf and has the cups, protections, and stirrers. All you will need to get started aside from PPE's if you are a beginner. It is a medium to thick viscosity and mixes a bit bubbly even when stirred slowly. More so than some of the others I use. It needs to be around 75 degrees to start thinning and degassing, so putting part A in hot water for about 10 minutes before starting to mix can make that part much easier if you are in a colder area.I placed the mixed resin in a vacuum chamber and ran it double the usual time to get the bubbles to clear. However, it did well in my pouring. I would have liked to know what its maximum pour depth was, but the instructions didn't have that. So while I didn't try it on a deep mold, I did do some that were close to an inch deep in places and it handled it fine, and it had a 30-ish minute working time before it began to get hot and thick. I poured in layers and under and over feathers. That triangle piece took a total of 12 ounces to finish. I poured it with some of the included mica and also some resin dyes. I used it to dome the peacock feather piece. Also poured it clear in the egg around one of the baby dinos. Each time it did well. A few bubbles to finesse out and I did get some that came up later under the rim of the container, but all in all I would certainly use it again.

This was a great kit. Epoxy has very little bubbles and easy to work with.
