Petz Hamsterz 2 - Nintendo DS

I bought this for my 8 year old's birthday because she is crazy about hamsters and we don't have a real one, so I thought this game would be perfect. She told me she likes the game but hates the fact that the hamsters bite so much.I played the game before I gave it to her and they only bit me once. I think you have to pet them in the right place just below it's neck, they seem to bite if you pet them on back or head. She finds it a fun game nonetheless and plays with it everyday. Personally, i think they could have included more things to do in the game. I don't know what the first petz hamsterz was like, but this one could use some improvement. Maybe if they included visiting Petz world like in the petz bunnyz bunch game, it would be more interesting.

I purchased this after playing my daughter's Horsez 2 game. Overall, it is fun, but it is very simple. For the most part, if you feed and water the hamsters, they will be happy and you'll accumulate a lot of stars (the stars are used like money). My biggest complaint is that there isn't a lot to do and there are options for things like adding a second story to the house, but it is never available when I go to the pet store. In all, the pet store selection is extremely limited. It would be more fun if I could build a large house with lots of accessories.

Adorable game

This was a gift for a 12 year girl that had live hamsters at the time I bought this for her. She was a hamster-aholic. The game was fun and lasted a few years before she outgrew it. We gave it to my niece and she used it for a couple of years on and off.

Was very different compared to the Gameboy version was hoping it would b the same, non the less it is still a fun game.

I chose four stars because the game is fun to play but definitely for a young child.I'm 21 and I enjoy playing the game but it is very kiddish.

Works fine no problems at all. Love it.

This game was purchased for a 4 yr old. She played it a few times but prefers her other games so this one has been set aside. I'm assuming it is probably for an older age group.

It gets boring quick but it’s a cute game. It’s like having a hamster.

Again....another purchase for my youngest daughter. She had loads of fun with this game. She was over the moon when I bought it for her.
