I'd recommend. Very nice knives. Not sure how I feel about the built in sharpeners.. yet to be determined

Overall this is a good knife set. However, the flaws have to do with the self sharpening set up, it is just about useless. Next flaw is the plastic handles are not durable, as the picture shows there are two steak knives that the plastic handle has broke. None of these knives have been machine washed, I hand wash and dry them after each use. Another draw back is that the edge needs frequent resharpening after two or three uses. On the plus side the edge comes back quickly without having to be fussy with the sharpening set up.Now for the good things about this set. The knives are conveniently placed in the block so as to make it easy to see and select the one you want, likewise with returning it. They are very comfortable in the hand, making using them a pleasure. The weight of each one is substantially well balanced, again making them easy to use. The fit and finish (handles aside) is very good. The steel is easy to bring back the edge. It would have been nice if they included a steel honing rod and a bread knife.
