Capital Mysteries Complete Set 1 - 14 (Stepping Stones Books)

This Capital Mystery book set by Ron Roy was as advertised. Brand new books, in great condition, packaged well, at a good price. My son is happy with them. These are great books for newer readers. Second and third graders. Especially ones that love mysteries. Ron Roy does a good job developing the characters and making a story very interesting. Much better than other mystery books we have tried, like encyclopedia brown and Cam Jansen. Ron Roy’s other series, A-Z mysteries and Calendar mysteries, our great series for new readers as well. These are just a very small step above Magic Treehouse books in terms of difficulty.

My 6 year olds love these books they had me order all of them and we read them over. They can't wait till they can read them alone. Some of the situations KC and Marshall get into are dangerous and we talk about what was wrong with their choice and what they should have done instead. It's a great teaching skill.

My seven-year-old loved them and read every one as fast as he could. To my adult taste, they weren't great literature and were occasionally inexplicably naive, but they show kids being smart, curious, and persistent.My little boy, who resists any books that feature girls, loved this. I'm not sure he noticed that the leader is the female character, with a smart mal sidekick.

Love these books. Super cute and keeps my kids interested

My daughter is 7 and in second grade. We live in DC area and this is one of our favorite series. Some of the books are a little scary for her.

My daughter loves this series of books. My husband and I read these to her at night and she begs us to keep reading.

Great reading. Our students really enjoy this series. Great way to sneak a bit of history into enjoyable reading. Will continue to purchase for this series.
