WiFi Extender Booster…Campsite/Caravan WiFi Booster/Antenna… (2)

I don't normally review products, but this deserves recognition. I'm currently sat on my narrow boat (made of steel, never great for wifi)! I'm moored under a steel bridge at the very end of a marina. Because of all the steel, I have no mobile phone signal. The nearest marina wifi router is approximately 30 meters away and roughly 5 meters above me set back from the bank. Neither my iPhone, iPad or laptop recognised any form of wifi connection.I placed the iBoost in a window and roughly pointed it in the direction of the router. I say roughly because it's certainly not in line of sight and BOOM it picked it up straight away. I now have my own little wifi network on the boat. But it gets better!Being I was so impressed I walked to the marina wifi router and logged in directly to their public network on my phone and did a speed test. I then came back to the boat, connected to the network created via the iBoost and did another speed test. Absolutely no difference in speed.If you own a boat, caravan or camper and your fed up with slow wifi or no wifi on campsites/marinas because your some distance from the router, then this is the answer. All comes tidily packed in the box and will store away nicely when not in use.Brilliant bit of kit.

We have a static caravan on a very large site (600+ statics plus visiting tourers) however the site WiFi leaves much to be desired, frequent drop-outs, very weak signal, almost impossible to use at weekends when all the kids are logged in playing games etc. I have tried other solutions in the past, various high gain USB adapters with very little success. I finally took the plunge and bought the Motorhome WiFi iBoost Directional System, and quite honestly have never looked back since. No drop-outs whatsoever, and a big bonus is we can now watch catch-up TV, Netflix, Prime, BBC iPlayer etc etc on our smart TV, which was totally impossible before installing the iBoost system. I cannot recommend this system highly enough.

I've used this kit on a number of sites now and am very pleased.It has kept a demanding family with kids entertained by allowing them to use all their devices from a single site access code that only usually allows one device at a time. The speed and quality of the internet connection is faster than I could otherwise get on my pitch just using my iPad.Having used other boosters in the past, I was impressed by a number of features; the suction bracket is excellent and allows mounting on a inside on a window looking out, roof or external wall.The LED signal strength meter on the back of the antenna is surprisingly handy and web interface is clear and gives a wealth of information.The carry case and velcro cable ties really is the icing on the cake when it comes to packing away.I am already recommending this product to fellow campers on a regular basis and expect to be doing so for many years to come.

This is a great bit of kit. I found it super easy to set up with just my phone. It's a rebranded version of a more expensive model from what I can tell too so it's decent value.I used it on my mum's caravan to connect to the single device local/site WiFi and then use that to create a custom private network for her smart TV, tablet and chromecast etc.Worked a treat.

Not a plug and play device. You need to use a tablet and follow detailed instructions. Spent hours trying to connect to the internet on 2 caravan sites each with good wi-fi. Couldn't get it to work. No help line number - an email address saying you have to send screen shots and they will get back to you in 24 hours.

Was happy with the product packaging and decided to pay a premium for it. This is just a rebranded device (Ubiquiti & Mikrotik), which is fine, but due to the firmware limitations imposed, I decided to return the product as it could not do all I required.

Has been working perfectly, had a few probs initially in setting up but followed troubleshooting instructions and solved it. Vast improvement in signal strength and able to use more than one device when on sites that have restrictions as it now goes via the iboost router

Neatly contained in the purpose made box it keeps everything together, quality individual item's and clear instructions.
