It is just such a well composed book, with the picture galleries, themes and instructions well laid out and easy to use. my only complaint is that there are some errors and typos, which may confuse newcomers. These include listing the wrong stitch type in a pattern, inconsistencies between the description and schematic picture, which shows there was poor editing (or editing not done by someone actually making the item), which may put off some when attempting the trickier patterns. I have not tried everything in the book, but all of the squares, circles, hexagons and a good selection of others. You can work out what the errors are yourself, but only with some serious attention, time and experimenting.Having said that this book is fantastic and I particularly adore the angler fish, insects and pieces suitable for joining.

This us a great help as I have no previous crochet work helping me to get on with crafting

This is a great little book for beginners like myself, it gets you use to doing the stitches required to work in rounds or rows, and gets you use to changing between colours as well. The only reason this didn't get the full 5 star rating is because it's very much full of flowers, there isn't much variantion in the book. You have the odd page here and there of animals and fruits but that's it. Great book for beginners and if you're looking to do mini projects.

Very pleased, like most books there are some things I will never make but generally more things I will, would recommend, good for the beginner and he more advanced.

Bought as a gift for someone who already had this book for knitting. Full of little things to crochet - animals and flowers etc. Nice book

Cannot wait to make some of the wonderful designs to enhance my crochet makes. Beautiful designs I have not seen elsewhere. So inspiring.

A super assortment of pretty patterns in this book graded from easy to difficult. As a beginner I have only tackled a couple as yet but as I progress look forward to trying some of the more challenging ones.
