Vionic Womens Tide

I am so obsessed with these sandals—they got me through my first pregnancy and I don’t know why I neglected to get a new pair for this second pregnancy until now. My feet were in total agony from all that weight gain on just the balls and heels of my feet. You can literally run water under my feet my arches are so high, and my feet and knees suffer under normal circumstances, pregnancy just makes it extraordinarily challenging and painful. These sandals are everything. I wear them indoors and out, morning til night. To fully support my foot during this summer heat they just couldn’t be any better. So comfy, supportive, don’t rub between toes or on top of my foot. Perfectly designed and engineered, and they look decent too, not like old lady orthopedics. I can’t say enough about them! My pain is totally gone when I wear them.True to size, but if you are also pregnant and have swollen feet you might want to size up one like I had to. You could probably get them wet but I don’t, I just bring a pair of cheapies to briefly wear if I’ll be in the water. Just not sure how the small patent leather strip would do if they were fully immersed in water.

I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis early in my 20s. This has evolved into full blown heel spurs in the ensuing 20 years. For those who do not suffer from heel pain like this, the best description is knives in the bottoms of my feet. Any shoe I buy must first pass the “pain” test, not the “cute” test. Flat sandals or flip flops in the summer?!? Forget about it...until now! I have been looking at buying a pair or Vionic sandals for years but the price tag kept me away. It was hard for me to justify flip flops for over $50...but I so desperately wanted to wear something other than tennis shoes with shorts that I ordered a pair. (Tried them on at Dillard’s before ordering so I wouldn’t have to wonder about sizes...price is about the same, maybe a couple of bucks less on Amazon and I’m a prime member.) Be aware - these sandals are not for the faint of heart. They have a SERIOUS arch which is a must for me so that my foot is fully supported. Even so, it took some getting used to when I started wearing them. However, break in period is over and I am delighted with them! I can wear sandals...flip flops...and my feet don’t hurt. It is honestly one of the best purchases I have ever made for my feet and I WILL be buying more Vionics of ALL types. First time in over 20 years that I have worn any type of sandal with no pain. So, so happy that I finally took a chance in these shoes. Totally worth it!

I unfortunately suffer from Plantar Fasciitis in both feet and I’m not ready to wear orthopedic tennis shoes all the time. I heard great things about these flip flops and decided to give them a try. These have great arch support and are very comfortable. I’m not sure if they mention that they’re waterproof but I have gotten them wet many times with no problems. I have 2 pairs and I really appreciate the simplicity of the design, they don’t scream ORTHOPEDIC!

I have been wearing Orthaheel sandals for several years. This is my first pair of Vionic shoes and while they have good arch support they don't fit as well as my other Orthaheel sandals. They are a tiny bit wide and my foot slips sideways. I ordered my regular shoe size and don't think I could have gone smaller in the length. If you have a wide foot then the regular size should be perfect for you. Otherwise they are comfortable.

My plantar fasciitis is acting up badly and I had just bought a pair of oluakai sandals that I also wore all last summer abd felt great. Well they weren't enough as far as arch support, my feet were killing me. So I bought these in black, and about an hour after wearing them my feet had relief. It took the first day just to get used to them now they're great not a cushiony sole at all more dense thick sole with high arch support that offers the shock protection while walking. Straps are very comfortable and I've actually gotten compliments on the shiny black patent leather. Definitely worth it !

I have fallen arches and I'm constantly tearing tendons in my ankle. My doctor recommended that I never go barefoot again because my condition was so severe that when I go with out artificial arch support I am rubbing my ankle bones together. He recommended vionic and it changed my life. At first I was bothered by the price being so high for what is essentially flip flops but I bought my first pair 3 years ago and have worn them every day since. The arch support took a little bit to get used to but my pain is almost gone. I have worn these sandals all around my house, to the lake, the park, everywhere. I do have to replace them every 18 to 24 months because the arch does drop a little with extended wear but again I wear mine every minute that I am not at work or sleeping. The post has never come out, my feet have never slid around even when wet, and I have seen a drastic reduction in my pain. I recommend these to everyone and I will be a Vionic customer for life.

I ordered down - usually an 11, got the 10 and they are mm's shorter than I would like but feel great! My foot is skinny so if u r a wide u might stick with reg size- Theses have ALOT of arch support - feels like a hill under ur foot but I don't get the plantar fasciitis pain when I wear them. They are cute with the shiny patent strip on the strap but the bottoms are rubber and have raised dots so that part is casual but not uglyI also have the vionic with the silver circle detail- they are loose around the foot and dainty-er. I have the navy it's pretty, but harder to "operate" when walking which turns out to be good bcuz it causes u to really move your legs and feet which is good for muscles and circulationBoth r pretty for orthopedic shoes and could go casual to slightly dressy

These are my all time favorite Vionic sandals! This is my 2nd pair in this color! I also have these is a couple of other colors! I would definitely recommend these! They fit great and I can really tell a difference in my walking and in my back!
