Merrell Women's Moab 2 Mid Waterproof Hiking Boot

Very comfortable right out of the box! No breaking in necessary. I hiked 5 miles on rocky, hilly terrain the first time I wore them and they were perfect. Hiked three days in a row and had no blisters or discomfort whatsoever. Great ankle support and the soles grip well climbing over rocks. I have a pair of Merrell hiking shoes that are almost identical and love them, too. Fit true to size.

I have been desperate to find a decent comfortable pair of hiking boots or sneakers. I could not find any after repeated tries - my main thing I was looking for was something supportive (as I have on/off plantar fascitis) and I wanted lots of space in the front for my toes (had issue with previous sneakers with pressure on my toenails, a few turned black & blue from some sneakers I had - and could not deal with that). So normally in sneakers I take a 8 medium. I ordered these up not only 1/2 size but ordered the wide (so I ordered the 8.5 Wide) OMG I LOVE LOVE LOVE THESE! NO breaking in at all. Literally from the moment I put them on I have had total comfort - no issues, sizing is great - room for my toes especially if you get hot, your feet will expand. I cannot say enough good things about these. I also had tried (before ordering these) the Keen version - sent them right back - they were not comfy and they did not have wide options. As mentioned I normally do not take wide - but in a hiking boot - it makes a huge difference - I love these so much! They have great traction, are super easy to tie, tons of padding around the top. I hope they NEVER ever discontinue this model - this is one of the best footwear I have owned ever....

Great hiking boot! I wore them around the house a couple times while I was cleaning and they were comfortable when we were hiking in Colorado. Light weight but sturdy and the traction was good.

First time trying this brand. They are soooo comfortable! I love them!! Easy to slip your foot in unlike some other hiking boots. They support your foot and ankle extremely well, like a cushy hug. I normally wear an 8.5 but got a 9.5 in this Moab 2. Glad I went to the Merrell store first to try on sizes as that surprised me. But like anything else, it depends on the brand. The color is so much better in person. Ready to go to Moab and do some hiking in April. Get them you won’t be disappointed!!

Not forever water proof, but does well for months. Fits good out of the box. Wear them 8+ hours 5 days a week for work, good traction on different terrain, last about 10 months ( which is good for what the boots go through).I do replace the insoles with a comfort/support insoles, due to the amount of time spent on my feet. These are my third pair.

Comfortable right out of the box. I love the light colors, which will show ticks when hiking! The toe box is roomy, and the height of the boot cradles and supports my compromised ankles.

Sized a little small. But is a great purchase. Fit,grip, and durability are amazing. The weight is awesome!

Excellent hiking boot. Very comfortable with the right socks. Need to break them in a bit but after that they offer good support and kept my feet dry. The traction is great. They are very durable. Good quality
