My wife and I wanted to give our daughter something to commemorate her first season of volleyball, so I picked out this ball. We've got other balls to play with, so it was more about the sweet message of support. It came with a pump, easily inflated, and has held the air well. It sits on her shelf as a reminder of her accomplishments and our love. If she wanted to take it down and bump it around, I'm sure it would serve (pun!) that purpose as well.

I ordered this for my kids to use when their virtual school instructs them to work on volleyball skills. My kids are both boys, and really, I would have gotten a plain white volleyball with zero messages had the option been on Vine. However, we’re goofy enough to laugh about having a ball with a message that clearly doesn’t match our family. At the end of the day, it is a volleyball.The ball comes completely deflated in a taped over resealable bag. I’m not sure what the purpose was here in taping over the zipper seal for the bag, but I can confirm that mine is no longer in a sealable state. The ball comes with a hand pump that does work for inflating the ball, though I quickly switched to a more comfortable foot pump once I confirmed the hand pump was sufficient for the task.The ball, when fully pumped, looks right for a volleyball. I’m vaguely recalling that there were a variety of volleyballs in my school gym when I played years back, and this matches the ones that I liked less for how it feels on impact, but it’s still a volleyball that can be played with, and my kids are still happy to have it. I think the ones I liked more had a thicker lining, but I’m less certain on that aspect.As for the message itself, it’s quite heartfelt and looks nice on the ball. However, there’s a line in there that alludes to mothers dying before daughters. Now, I suppose there are families that want to have these Lifetime-like reminders of death on mementos of affection, but if I was given this from my own mother, I think I’d be frustrated that a gift became a depressing reminder of our mortality. On the plus side, since it’s on a ball, I have the option of smacking the heck out of the message anytime I’m frustrated with it.In summary, it is a volleyball. It comes with a pump, so you can fully inflate it without buying anything else or locating a different pump. The volleyball has a message of love to a daughter that looks nice on the ball, but the message is bittersweet since it alludes to the eventual death of a parent.

This was beyond my expectations and the perfect gift for my daughter after making the team. The message is perfect and the ball seems like it will last. It does come with a pump so you can pump it up before hand. Your daughter will love this!!

I love this volleyball. Ball came with 2 air fill pins and pump to easily Inflate the ball. This was super easy to do. Ball is soft and comfortable on the palms and wrist. It is durable and easy to Inflate and deflate. I got this for my daughter who's been going through a lot. She plays volleyball twice a week and loves the game so I thought this would be the perfect "just because" gift for her to remind her how proud I'am of her and yo never give up on a good fight. The harder you fight, the stronger you come out in the end everytime. Great value! I always recommend positive kindness!

Could not inflate because the bump broke on the first use. I'm not even going to bother driving an hour to my local ups to send it back with gas prices I can just buy a new one if I want. Love the saying on the ball.

This volleyball has a nice saying on it about daughters. It would be a great gift for your daughter if she likes volleyball. The pink and white color is very feminine and nice looking. It also includes an easy to use hand pump.

I used to be a volleyball coach and bought many Wilson balls. This ball doesn’t feel like as good quality as the ones that I bought from them, but it’s very decent.Not to mention the fact that I absolutely love the message on it and for a ball that can be used for practice, even if it doesn’t hold up as well as the other brand, I’m thrilled with it!I would highly recommend this for a gift! You will not be disappointed!!
