Saved Replacing $400 blinds
The Venetian blind tilt mechanism broke . It was unavailable from the blind manufacturer. This product worked although I had to slightly enlarge the hole the blind rod fit into the mechanism.Good vids on youtube to show how to disassemble blind.

direct fit to blinds from Homedepot or Lowes, nicely built
It is a shame that 90% of damage to blind is due to tilting machanisim not blind blade. And the titling machanism made of plastic under sunlight is the root cause.Very nice to find this replacement part here. There are meatal pins within the plastic for reinforcement. Hope it last longer.
