Fundamental Rockhound: 5 lb 46/70 Extra Coarse Rock Tumbling Grit polishing Silicon Carbide 46 70

It is as coarse as advertised. For those of you who tumble rocks it puts the smooth on your initial cycle batch of rocks quite well. I do not know if the extra coarse grit impacts softer rocks negatively. Probably not but something to consider if you are concerned about that sort of thing.

I have put so much of this into the tumbler and it hasn't worked at all. My tumbler has been running for 2 and 1/2 weeks and no change. I am very disappointed. I keep adding more it doesn't work.
