I am also that size and I bought a size 4 and it fits well.

I got a size 4. I'm 5'8" 150 lbs. I'd probably get a size 3 if I were you.

Q: I’m6 foot five and I normally wear a 5X in uniforms. Do you think your size 10 will fit?

I wear a size 5 in the Century brand karate gi but I went with the Ronin size chart recommendation and purchased a size 4. The white belt that came with it is a little shorter than I’m used to, but the gi fit me perfectly. I suggest you follow the size chart recommendations.
