Great story with many in common aspects—our renown Chef father worked at Luchow's and at the Waldorf in the same time frame and we are fortunate to live just down the road from the Culinarian Home founded by Oscar!

The book has some great first hand anecdotes about old NY and the Waldorf hotel. Can be a bit dry during parts, but overall a fun read

Yes he was my great great uncle and i learned alot about the man and enjoyed the pictures, thank you so much!!! It cleared up alot of things for me love it.
