Shipping took a bit but the book arrived as described and would definitely use the vendor again.

Stories while abridged considerably still have a lot of details (compared to some other Usbourne books). Illustrations are the best part though. They are done by some good artist (again comparing to some other books from the same publisher). Pleasingly colourful and match my imagination of how story book illustrations should be like. The quality of paper and binding is also on par. Hard back is not as bulky as some other books (from the same publisher that I bought recently).

I've got all series of those Usborne books. Its well illustrated and written in modern language which is appropriate for children at 6-10 y o. Also it is a good start to introduce them to world classic authors. My son liked the hard cover of the books, excellent presentation and an information about the famous writers. Highly recommend for kid's home library. Thanks Usborne!

Great adventure story. My 8 year old loved it!

The kids really loved these well written and illustrated abridged classic stories for bedtime reading. The print is nice and clear to be read out aloud or for older kids to read themselves. They were really enjoyed and will be enjoyed again no doubt!

The book is in Excellent condition. Very happy with my purchase.

A great book with fab pictures but down the spine the cover is almost off and one of the stories has writing in ink on the pages. I didn't pay much for it but it is quite weighty so I had to pay a few pounds in postage. I'm still happy with it but think I should have chosen one in better condition.
