I recently tried Dona Ceremonial Matcha and I’m truly impressed with the quality. The powder is vibrant green and blends easily without clumping. I made it with hot water and added Lactaid milk plus a little honey syrup—it tasted delicious! The flavor is smooth, earthy, and not bitter. It gave me a gentle energy boost and I felt focused without any crash. Great product if you’re looking for a daily matcha option. I definitely plan to keep this in my routine.

4 stars only because of the price. Other than that, this is quite literally an elixir made out of pure heaven. Nutty, creamy, umami, perfect. Made a cup with pistachio milk and almost cried of pure bliss. The day I am a millionaire is the day my pantry will always be stocked with this.

Very tasty matcha! I am not a big expert on matcha but I know a bad one when I taste it - and this is not bad at all. I would buy again!

I ordered this matcha originally and it was the best thing I had ever tasted, however when I ordered again, I noticed the packaging of my matcha had changed. The matcha in the new packaging seems to be much lower quality. Exactly as the other one star review for this item states.Included are pictures of the original packaging from my first order about a week ago next to the packaging of my second order I received yesterday. I also will include a photo of a matcha latte I made with the first order I received, va the second. Notice the matcha is much yellower inthe picture from my second order.I also noticed my first order had an expiration date of 1/21/26, while my second order had an expiration date of 1/02/26. Which is strange because you would expect your most recent order to be the freshest.Maybe I’m crazy, but it seems like they send their best quality out to first time customers so that they can get great reviews & hook customers on their brand, then when they reorder they send a cheaper, lower quality matcha thinking most people won’t notice, and those that do likely won’t bother writing a second review about it.

The media could not be loaded. A tasty and smooth flavor. This matcha is so easy to mix without leaving any clumps. I didn’t have the adequate equipment, but I still was able to mix it just fine with a whisk and a bowl. I love the energy that I was able to get from drinking this. It’s so different from my regular coffee. Every time I drink it I feel more awake and more energized, because of this I’m able to do more things with my day. I also love that this does not give me that awful crash that I get every time I drink coffee. I really appreciate the way that they packaged this. It comes sealed in a aluminum foil bag, which comes inside a sealed tin can which then you can empty the contents of the aluminum bag into the tin can and store it safely that way.

Color and flavor is good, it has a nice umami flavor, i like how its still holds a nice strong flavor even after adding milk HOWEVER it leaves a chalky feeling in your mouth and throat. First sip i could just feel the powder in my throat and it made me cough. I whisk traditionally too mind you. I made a few adjustment by adding water, whisking longer, checking my whisk etc but it was still the same. Its my 4th day drinking it and its still the same chalky matcha. Would not repurchase. Also for the price? Not a good value for money.
