Resistol Men's Cisco Hat

I get so many compliments on this hat. They say they have never seen a Gus cut hat. They must never watch good western movies. It is a great hat. Fit is spot on. Stays put in the wind.

Best hat for my big head

The straw hat was exactly what we wanted, but it arrived slightly crushed. After contacting the company, they worked quickly and professionally to solve the problem. Very satisfied with the hat and the company!

I have now received two of these. Cool hat, great looking, typical Resistol workmanship. But then Amazon jams them into a box that is too small for them and severely damages the hats in the process. Mine even had broken straw fibers, otherwise I'd have taken it to a local shop to have it steamed and fixed. I have reported the bad packaging. I'd have given the hat five stars, but since Amazon can't ship them without trashing them, one star.

The hat was great just to big. The next size down was 50$ more so I ended up not buying the other.

The hat was delivered when I wasn't home. When I saw the package on the porch I wasn't sure what the heck was in it. The box looked as though it had either been kicked down the road or dragged behind the truck. The top of the box was even torn open as if someone checked to see if there was actually something in the box. I had read the reviews before ordering the hat so I held my breath until it arrived. Fortunately the hat was in perfect shape. I don't know how, but it was undamaged. The seller would do well to invest in some boxes appropriate for the product. The one used for my hat might have done well for a shirt box...........maybe, but it's not suited for hats at all. I wear the hat all the time. Very nice. The box barely made it to the dumpster without collapsing.

You have to separate the actual product from the shipping experience on this one. The hat itself is nice, attractive and fit as I expected. If it had arrived undamaged, I probably would given it four stars - as in "like it" but not "love it".Similar to other purchasers' comments, the hat was simply placed inside a shipping box without any structured, internal protection. A short, unsecured strip of sealed air packets was thrown in, but they didn't provide adequate protection for whatever bouncing around the box went through. The hat arrived damaged - irreparably creased and dented in several places. Probably should be one of those products where the sale is suspended pending shipping review.
