This works well and keep things frozen. A lot of the reviews mention the low noise level and I have to agree. I don't hear this whatsoever. I use this for my frozen dog food, there has been some frost but nothing major. Its the perfect size for small spaces but it holds quite a bit of food.

Product arrived by Fed-Ex in great condition. I was nervous after seeing all of the reviews commenting the item was dented and damaged. O dents or dings. It’s been on for about 2 hours and already feels cold. Came with two trays! Digital temp setting a plus. This item is in my laundry room and is super quiet. With the laundry room door closed, I cannot hear it at all. Even with the door open, the operating noise is a low hum. I am genuinely pleased with the product and this purchase. I’m glad I made the purchase!!

I needed something smaller for my apartment, which isn't small, but it fills up quick. But my refrigerator/Freezer was always full because it was so small. This fit the bill perfectly! Small and powerful, it started cooling off before I had the top closed after plugging it in. It fits perfectly in the corner and serves me well!

Freezer works great, but there was a scratch on the front panel

PROS: I upgraded from a square 3.5cu freezer to this lower & wider 5cu. It's more compact then the one it's replacing by almost 3 inches, front-to-back, & 2 baskets instead of one makes organizing things like veggie bags a lot easier. If you have limited space but want more freezer, this is the one for smaller homes, like mine. Love the black color. It's easier to reach the bottom since it's lower in height, has wheels so I can move it & clean behind it (fur balls gather there ... I have 2 cats!). I didn't rate efficiency or temp control because it's only been plugged in & full for 2 days now. It hits all of the other things I was looking for. >>>CON<<<: What's with the clear plastic covering it? It's like adhesive plastic that's been in place 10+ years & isn't going to move. The Demuller name is (was) plastic stick-on letters, on top of this wrap, & the letters popped off. The wrap is ON the panels but UNDER all of the trim, including the temp panel. If it wasn't supposed to be taken OFF, it sure looked like it shouldn't have been left ON. It took me a good half hour to remove just the plastic wrap on the front panel. I'm not doing the rest because it's in a back room but, geez, if I had known, I would have chosen another brand. If this was going to be in a room where it would be visible to anyone visiting, this would NOT work. UPDATE: I put a freezer thermometer in it when I 1st set it up. The LED on the front panel has been showing as -2 but the thermometer I put inside was reading as +2, & later as +5. I pressed the button on the panel & set it to -5, waited overnight & checked it. It was -2. SO, there is a slight discrepancy but overall OK. Also, it makes sounds like water running through it & it's a bit noisy. Think of where you're going to be putting this if you don't want to hear it "clearing it's throat". For me, it's fine & I would give it 4.5 as an overall rating.

It’s a perfect size. It’s only my husband and myself, so this freezer was perfect. And it arrived in a timely fashion. I ordered it on Thursday and here it is Saturday morning and I already got it. I’m so pleased.

My bf and I were looking for a deep freezer to store our meats since we have a small fridge in out apartment. We initially though of getting the 3.5 but after some research we notice that size was not with paying almost what we payed going to the 5.0.When we received this feeezer it was everything I neeeed and more ! The packaging came super secure, nothing was damaged. I couldn’t believe how light this was ! I though I was going to have to wait til my bf got home to install but nope ! It has little wheels I just rolled over to the area designated ! It started to get cold immediately after I plugged it in and in about 2-3 hours my stuff was almost frozen !The quality is preety good, very sleek and durable. The space inside is AMAZING, we have bought so much to fill it up and just forget about grocery shopping for a little while. And it STILL has so much space left !

I needed a larger freezer, 5 cu ft, than what I have. I looked at several and finally settled on this de Mueller. I'm sorry I did. It has a peculiar noise that never stops and the lid creaks every time I open it and it's getting worse every day and I've only had the unit up and running for two weeks. Definitely not worth what I paid. Don't waste your money on this one! I'd love to return it but unfortunately I've thrown away the packing materials.
