I have 3 cats and a Doberman and we have multiple water fountains throughout the house and this one is by far my favorite. It hold the most water and the well is deep enough for me dog to drink from.

I have two small dogs and one cat. This is our first fountain and I was a bit unsure if they would use it or not. They took to it right away and they seemed to love it. I have noticed they are drinking more which is better for their health. They are all older animals, the youngest is 10. I also like how a red light comes on to tell you the water is running low. Very easy to put together as well.

I bought this product with some skepticism regarding size and parts to care for and so on. This was easy to put together, easy to clean and easy to refill wherever you decide to put it in your home. It’s true, it’s quiet. Between 2 cats and 1 large dog, it offers the right amount of water reservoir and refilling it one every 3-4 days. I highly recommend rinsing the reservoir, stainless steel tray and tubing with hot water before refilling it with fresh cool water. In doing so, it’s made cleaning the fountain once every 7-10 days easy and takes about 5mins from start to finish.I bought the filters and it’s worth the money.Without the filter, the water becomes slimy.

I am not sure if it's because of my water but it does cause algea to form if not cleaned weekly. I am on a well system at home and not city water so that might be the issue. It isn't super quiet, you can hear the water trickling down from the top to bottom, but it isn't horrible.

I thought it wasn't working but I didn't realize when I was checking water level and was looking at filter housing cup filled it up and it's working great. No noise like it better than the other one cost a little more but we'll worth it

This is the second largest water bowl we have ever bought. It is huge compared to most other fountains. We love how quiet it is and the clear sides make it easy to tell when it starts getting low. For most people, this will probably last your pet a whole week before refilling, for us it is a few days because we have a lot of cats 10+.

It's better than the last brand I bought. After 3 days, I'm still seeing a film build up inside though. The last brand had the filter on the top as the water went over it. The first fountain i bought was a good one. The filter was inside like this one, and no scum build up. I did some homework before buying this brand, and liked the fact that the filter was inside (like the first one I ever bought but discontinued now) and the extra filter coverage it has. I have 3 Boxers and 2 drink a lot of water. They love the fresh water from the fountains. Another issue is that it's hard to see inside when it's time to add more water. There needs to be a colored light like most have. It does hold quite a bit of water like advertised. Assembly was very easy.

I had a 2 level cat mate fountain for my dog and cat, which worked well but was complicated and annoying to clean. But they did seem to like to share. Our dear cat left us due to cancer, so I did not need the style fountain I had. Our dog is large with a long snout and drinks a lot at one time, so I tried this fountain. Pros - it holds over 2 gallons so we don't need to fill it so often. It is very, very easy to clean. The way the filter is set, the pump doesn't get as gunky as on my old fountain. Cons - the bottom should be clear or the marks darker so you can see the water level. The light that warns the level is low is a great idea but is hard to see. The metal top should be a little deeper - my slop hound splashes water out when he drinks. His friend the Rottie seems to have a little trouble with the lack of depth when he visits. Overall, it is a definite improvement which meets our current needs better and we are happy with it. So are my son's girlfriend's cats who inherited our old fountain !

Love how easy it is to clean and refill. Only negative is that for such a large bowl it can only be filled halfway which kinda makes it redundant. I have 2 dogs that emptied it in 3 days whereas my last water fountain lasted a week (I can’t find this fountain anymore which is why I switched). My dogs like the dish and drink readily from it. It’s whisper quiet :-)Update..I’ve had the fountain for a bit of time now and I’m not happy with it. Somehow it’s leaking! I don’t see any cracks in it so I don’t know where the water is coming from. The water just pools underneath and behind it. It’s not my dogs doing it when they drink since they’ve never done it before with any other water dish/fountain. Do not buy. I’m refilling this thing every day now and my hard wood floor is ruined :-(. My husband just took a really good look at it and he thinks it’s the dogs lapping the water up and splashing it over the side :-(
