I bought this for diamond painting because some times the numbers, letters or symbols are very hard to see. Even though i use a lighted board underneath what I am working on, I still need to see it bigger to make sure i am using the correct color drill. That is where this magnifying glass comes in verry handy. All I do is clip it onto the edge of the table and then I move the gooseneck into the area I am working on. It makes everything so much easier. While the weight of this is a bit heavy it adjust easily and the light is nice and bright. I usually leave it in the same spot so as to not have to keep cleaning up an area that I am just coming back to. I just fold down the goose neck so its not sticking up or out and there has never been an issue or problem of having it in the way. The light’s clip that adheres to the desk is very strong and holds well yet doesn’t scratch or ruin your furnishings.

Great light, it is very bright and great Magnifier is excellent for crafts. I would buy the light again if i needed another one. if you are looking for one this light is amazing. the stand is very sturdy and ease to assemble, i think it is very light weight , and not a bad price. sorry i do not have a photo yet.

Bought this for my wife as a gift for her jewelry making hobby and she loves it. She honestly doesn't know how she never had one before. The lights are bright (or dim) and the stand is solid. It is a great product and would recommend it

I bought this lamp to use for diamond painting and also for quilting applique. The unit is very sturdy and gives many variations for the type of light and the use of a clamp or stand which is a nice function depending on your project type. It's very sturdy and easy to move the neck of the lamp around to get it to the right position with excellent magnification.

Works well, both light and magnifier and is stable on the table. I bought this to take to a retreat and it worked well, however it is quite heavy to tote around. Better suited to keep at home!

Wow. Thank you Artdot for providing such a quality product for a great price. It fits on my diamond painting table perfectly and the weighted stand is handy if you can't attach to desk/table with the clamp. Great customer service and did not have to go through the trouble of going through Amazon to send it back. Thank you, ArtDot! UPDATE: Light no longer works. Just flickers when I try to turn it on.. As a diamond painter for many many years, ArtDot has always been my go-to.. they have great quality, reliable products that really work.. when I see a product is ArtDot, I know there's no need to sift through customer reviews to see if I'm getting ripped off because I already know the product is going to be nothing short of amazing! Which is why I'm extremely disappointed with this magnifying light... At first, everything was great. I was very happy with my purchase and it worked great for what I needed it for.. however, the light started flickering within one week of use.. that's not a big deal and I wasn't too worried about that.. however, my son went to unplug it from my power strip because we smelled it, out of nowhere, smelling like burning plastic. Literally like it was on fire! My son tried to unplug it but it was SO hot to the touch that it burned his hand. I got it unplugged and l let it cool down. I then plugged it back up to try again and went to turn it on. First, it wouldn't come on at all. After clicking the button several times, it came on then went right back off. After numerous tries, I got it to stay on. However, in no time, the plug and USB box it was heated right back up to the point it was entirely too hot to touch without causing my hand to actually burn. I can't use this, unfortunately. I will have to purchase another magnifying light from a different company. This is a very serious safety hazard. Nothing else in my power surge strip gets even close to hot.. or even warm actually. So, I know this is the item causing the issue. Very scary!
