Incorrect design for 2012 V6 EcoBoost.
The connector is the wrong design for a 2012 EcoBoost and will not work. The only good aspect is the connector can be disassembled instead of splicing in the wires. The alignment guides are too different to properly fit on the coil.I was able to disassemble the connector and use the locking tab on the old connector that was broken. Otherwise, this is incorrect and will not work.(Update) This connector may fit other 2012 F150 models, but the ad is generic and should be amended. There is no description claiming it will not fit 2012 F-150 V6 3.5L EcoBoost. Be sure to verify the guide slots prior to ordering especially if you have an EcoBoost. I tore apart the connector and did a test fit with the parts in my original connector and they all fit. I desired to replace the old brittle connector with a newer one, but this was not the outcome, and I was disappointed.
