My first BB Cream...Don't think it could get better!
I have been resisting BB/CC creams for awhile. I have pretty oily skin and usually have a lot of breakouts/redness to cover up. Lately, my skin's been on the mend. So I thought why not give them a shot. I'm so used to having a super full coverage look that something a little lighter might feel nice.I read up on these creams and thought it was between this one and the IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better cream. Considering this was just an experiment, I decided to go the more affordable route. I was also interested because this was one of the few that was advertised as a matte BB cream.I received this cream a couple days ago. I was excited but decided to wait to use it on my day off. I mean, I'm all for experimenting but heading to school for the whole day with a face full of who knows what?! I don't think so. When I opened the cream, I was a little surprised at how thin the cream was. I don't know why I was expecting it to be thicker...not a bad thing, just a first impression. There was no real smell. It did look darker than I was really comfortable with which made me nervous.I wasn't exactly sure how to go at this. I started to apply it with a beauty blender. About halfway through, I switched to my fingers. I'm not sure what the "ideal" method is for these creams, but I just went with what felt right and for once, my fingers seemed like a better plan than a brush and the blender wasn't doing much but soaking in the cream. The product went on smooth. It just kind of melted into my skin, and the color was perfection. As I'm used to so much heavier coverage, it was hard for me to know when I was finished applying! I finally told myself to put down the tube and step away from the mirror for a few minutes! I came back and took a good look. I was really impressed. This cream does a great job of evening out skin tone and covering up minor discolorations. It does even appear pretty matte alone with no powder.I wore it for about 6 hours. I did have to blot a few times. I wanted to see how it performed, so I never did apply powder. I think the cream would probably perform even better if set with just a tiny bit of it though. If you're a fellow oily sister looking for a lighter makeup day look, try this cream! Rimmel's a steal!

Great BB Cream
One of my favorite BB creams. Quality and texture is great. Does not make my skin oily. Easy to blend.

Decent for price but need to add a primer.
Perfect for me. Mix a few drops with Rimmel mattifying base primer and makes a perfect product for me! Evens out my skin tone, smooths, light coverage, and blurs the large pores. Couldn't find one product that did all of that without costing $50+ so made my own for less than $10. Long lasting and doesn't clog my pores either. Very thin and liquidy so just have to be careful when dispensing or will have a mess. Maybe a pump would be better?

Great Coverage for BB Cream, Keeps Oily Skin Matte
I have crazy acne (along with scars from it), and almost every foundation, concealer, etc. I've tried has broken me out, made me super oily, caused my skin to burn or itch, or caused some other issue. This one does none of those things. It's a tiny bit too pink for my skin, but it's close enough for me to use for non special occasions. I've used it every day for a week in a row, stopped using it, started up again, and no breakouts. Also, it's advertised as bb cream, but it's more of an everyday foundation IMO - it is not moisturizing enough for me to put it on just-washed skin (I use Simple Light Hydrating moisturizer, wait a few mins, and then apply rimmel's matte bb cream over that). This bb cream provides coverage that's more opaque than I would expect a bb cream to provide. It covers almost all of my redness/scarring without the need for concealer or extra foundation or powder. You can also apply, wait a minute or two, and apply some more for extra coverage. So far it's kept my skin matte too. I'm usually quite oily.Very impressed with this cream. I wish they had more colors. If you also have oily/acne/sensitive skin I would also recommend Ulta's demi matte foundation, which also hasn't broken me out, caused rashes or itching, etc. It's similar to this cream but has more color choices, it's SPF 20, and isn't too expensive (I purchased in 2017 and it was $14 for 1 oz).

Perfect for minimal makeup styles
I have always had a problem of sweating my makeup off as soon as I applied it. I decided to try this as it is much lighter in consistency than my normal too faced Foundation.I used unicorn essence (for brightening, moisturizing, and color correction), and baby skin primer beneath the cream. I applied it with my hands and blotted with a tissue in lieu of powder. I sat in the direct light of a sunset and didn’t sweat at all! I have extremely fair skin and purchased the lightest shade. From the tube it looked like it was going to be too dark but once applied it blended perfectly. The coverage was just right. I used a pink brightening concealer under my eyes and a concealer on a dark spot. This was all I needed. My skin looked very natural and I didn’t need blush, bronzer or do any kind of contour, but I feel like I could have if I wanted and it wouldn’t have been cakey.

Expired
I use this product as a light foundation to wear daily.. ordered March 2023 and received product that expired Nov 2022. I like the foundation in general but wouldn't recommend buying through Amazon.

Beats IT cosmetics, Laura Mercier, smashbox, hourglass, baby skin
I've been using this product for 4 years, and I've purchased 3 tubes so far, so I felt it was time for a review. What makes it better than any other bb or cc cream I've tried:- perfect amount of coverage: natural, still lets your real skin be visible while covering up imperfections, crazy buildable if you need more traditional foundation- matte: most bb creams don't produce a good matte finish- lasts all day- can use with primer for ever more coverage- smoothes fine lines and pores
