These are really nice mugs, a bit bigger than the normal so it feels like you’re drinking a gallon of tea but I like them, just don’t fill them right up

This is just the right size - not a bucket, but big enough for a decent cup of tea or coffee. It has a good handle and is comfortable to hold and to drink from. It feels quite sturdy and washes well in the dishwasher.

As a anniversary gift for my wife who loves her morning tea rituals. Upon first inspection, the mugs do give off an air of sophistication thanks to the unique horse graphic design wrapped around each one. The premium ceramic construction gives them some nice weight and durability for daily use.My wife appreciated the increased heat retention from the double-walled interior that keeps her green tea piping hot for almost an hour. The curved handle also provides a very comfortable, steady grip - even after long days when her hands are sore, she hasn't struggled with dropping these mugs. I like that they are top-rack dishwasher safe to keep cleaning easy.However, there are a few significant downsides to these mugs that lead me to dock a few points. First, they don't actually hold as much liquid as expected, capping off at just 10 ounces to the brim. My wife usually prefers closer to a 12-14 oz capacity to limit tea refills. The weight also causes some annoyance as the mugs feel quite hefty when drinking for longer periods. Additionally, the unique horse design, while stylish at first, feels a bit oddly juvenile rather than sophisticated.Taking everything into account, I'd say these ceramic mugs deliver on some key benefits like comfortable handling and temperature retention but miss the mark on a few aspects as well. If it were not a gift, I likely would have returned them and kept searching for something better optimized for daily tea enjoyment. They serve their purpose fine but leave some room for improvement.

Just received this not 5 minutes ago. Opened it and low and behold it's got a chip on the lip. Really disappointed.

It's possible the listing photo for this mug doesn't quite do it justice, the colours are a little more vivid in real life and make for an attractive presentation. The stippling pattern is not uniform and there are a few purple specks on the inside surface of the mug, but this gives it a rather endearing quality and adds to the unique appearance. As a mug it is a little larger than average volume-wise, although the handle is perhaps a little smaller than most (I can only get two fingers inside it whereas most let me use three) which makes it possibly a little less easy to keep firm hold of when full, but the difference is not really noticeable; I certainly appreciate the extra capacity more than the small handle puts me off. Overall, this is a nice fully-glazed and decorated ceramic mug of decent quality at a not bad price.
