I think S/M will fit you better, these shorts are true to size, I’m 5’2 130 lbs size s/m fits perfectly. I love them because they are very stretchy and soft, very very cozy.

Q: Are these biker shorys actually squat proof? i need a pairs of shorts for gym workouts.

Yes. They are non see through shorts, I have purchased 3 pairs for daily workouts, and I will buy more colors because they are really comfortable.

No they do not, very soft and very comfortable.

Q: Will the high waist on these shorts roll down under my gut or the legs ride up when running?

I wear them to run and the legs do not ride up. The waist doesn’t fall down either.
