Peugeot - Daman u'Select Manual Salt Mill - Adjustable Grinder - Acrylic & Stainless Steel 21 cm

I first saw this mill on a Cruise and was impressed by its ability to deliver just the granularity of grounds that you want. It tool some tracking down but eventually I found it on Amazon UK. The mill is excellent, you can set it to produce fine, sand like, grounds right up to really coarse grounds more like crushed pepper. It also doesn't have a central rod so it is very easy to fill. Not the cheapest mill in town but partnered with the Salt mill they form the best cruet set if have ever used.

First one worked for 2 weeks and then just suddenly stopped grinding for no reason, no blockages or jamming of the mechanism. Amazon sent a replacement which seems to be fine after a week so maybe I just got a duff one.I'd read a lot of reviews and it got a really good rating, coupled with the fact that when it's working it's better than any grinder I've ever used, really good range of settings and easy to fill with no central stalk.lets just hope the second one stays working!

I discovered these mills while on a cruise and was impressed. As soon as we got back I tracked them down and bought a salt and pepper mill. Because they are adjustable you apply the salt/pepper to just the right granularity. Personally I prefer pepper ground coarse and this is the only mill which I have found does this consistently.

Peugeot grinder is the one you want. Don't settle for anything less. Highly recommended

At long last I have a pepper grinder which works, doesn't get blocked. May seem expensive but really well worth the money.

We are on the second one of a Peugeot pepper mill with the same mechanism.It is absolutely useless. Both mills were fine to start with but both soon stopped grinding. These are expensive products from a reputable manufacturer but the peppercorns do not want to enter the grinding mechanism whatever fineness the mill is set to.A no star product.
